Chapter Twelve

Ariels POV

I looked across the movie room to see Skye hovering by the door, i bit my lip but turned my attention back to Ben

'so yeah would you ur wanna like hang out tomorrow or something?' he asked me nervously

i smiled at him blushing 'Yeah of course just like come knock on my door in the morning?' i asked

He nodded, his brown eyes catching mine 'Okay see you then' he laughed before standing up and leaving the room.

I walked over to where skye was and she quickly turned to face me,

'I fancy and early night, wanna join me?' she mumbled sadly

i nodded at her 'Okay' i smiled reassuringly before linking arms and pulling her out of the room, we walked past a Josh and Niall who looked both very guilty, was i missing something? I would have to ask her about that tomorrow.

I woke up the next morning to find Skye already awake and taking pictures of me

'SKYE URGH WHAT THE FUCK' i groaned

'they better not be going to twitter' i mumbled afterwards, she bit her lip

'opps' she laughed, i hit and scowled but a small giggle escaped my lips at the same time

'right i'm off to have a shower' i sighed but she pulled me back

'actually i kinda want to speak to you' she mumbled looking down at the bed.

'What's up Skye?' i asked slipping back under the duvets

'Well you know how i sort of like Niall, and i've been hanging out with Josh to make him jealous? Yeah well i overheard them talking yesterday Josh was telling Niall that i liked him and Niall said that i might as well be dating Josh and Josh said it was all fucked up, and he's right Ariel it is fucked up! I mean i don't know if i like Niall or Josh anymore, what do i do!' she wailed

i thought about what she had said for a few moments before i spoke up

'Niall has a girlfriend and he led you Skye, don't waste any feelings on him until he sorts all of that out because that really is fucked up what he's doing and Josh just try it out, it's not like you're marrying him!' i laughed at the end part. She looked up smiling

'Thankyou Ariel!' she sighed grinning. I jumped up out of bed and started applying my make up in the mirror

'Why don't you like hang out with Josh today?' i asked her while grabbing my ipod and putting on some Little Mix

'Yeah he said he was going to give me drumming lessons down in the basement i guess i could ask if he wanted to do that today' she said whilst pulling out clothes

it was silent for a few moments apart from the music playing in the background before she spoke up again 'hey, why don't you want me to be around hm? You and Benny boy have plans?' she laughed taking the piss

I blushed, god how had she figured me out already

'Yeah' i mumbled

'Where you going?' she asked me

'I dunno maybe like swimming or something?' i asked her, i hadn't really thought it over yet

'um babe look' she mumbled before pulling open the curtains, it was hammering down with rain outside.

'Shit' i laughed 'I guess our plans will have to stay in the house then'

'Oh yeah and lucky for you Cheska and Paul are working and obviously they've taken baby Jay with them, Zayns obviously still sick and Harry and Louis, Liam and Hanna and Eleanor have gone like triple dating or something' She told me. I swallowed a lump in my throat

'H-h-harry has a girlfriend?' i tried to ask casually but my stutter gave me away

'Oh yeah... sorry i thought you wouldn't mind me telling you since you and Ben have hit if off so well?' she asked me nervsouly

i shrugged, luckily a knock came at the door preventing me from having to say anything else. I looked down i was still wearing a baggy off the shoulder pink top that had 'Freshman 7' written across it and my hair tied up in a messy bun, and some short shorts that weren't visible underneath the top. My pjs.

Skye pulled open the door and in the door way stood Ben, wearing skinny dark blue jeans and a black tshirt . I giggled and jumped up grabbing my iphone and my wallet aswel.

'See you later Skye!' i smiled and jumped up running over to ben

'Hey' he smiled

'Hi' i smiled back

'So where are we going today?' he asked me looking down at me

'We're staying inside that's why i'm still in pjs now c'mon' i giggled holing his hand and pulling him down stairs and into the kitchen then shutting the doors behind us. i loved the kitchen, it was massive and open planned and one whole wall was glass looking out onto the drive way at the front of the house and you could see the rain pouring down outside.

'What do you wanna do?' he smiled at me

'I wanna make muffins!' i giggled

'Anything for you' he laughed

i grabbed my iphone and plugged it into the docking speakers and turned it up quite loud and put my ed sheeran play list on, 'Little Bird' came on

'i love this song' he smiled at me

'me too okay' i giggled 'okay we gotta find some ingredients right?'

'I'm on it!' Ben laughed pulling open the fridge and cupboards, he pulled a face at me 'they are empty'

'Ok we have to go to the shop then' i laughed pulling on some high tops and pulling him out of the door giggling

'But i don't have a car!' he laughed when we where out in the pouring rain, i was already soaked to the skin

' i know!' i laughed 'Run!' i entwined my fingers with him and we ran down the country road, me in just pjs and into the street, i pulled him into the first shop we could find. He looked at me and laughed

'You look like a panda' he chuckled i stuck my tongue out at him and grabbed a basket and made him hold it before pulling him between rows of the little corner shop. I put flower, butter, sugar, eggs and ready made chocolate icing in. We paid quickly the man at the counter raising an eyebrow at us before standing us our stuff in a bag and i handed him a tenner before pulling Ben out of the store.

'Guess we're running again' Ben laughed entwining his fingers with my mine again and pulling me down the road through the rain. I smiled all the way until we where eventually back in the house. We where both laughing hysterically and i we walked back into the kitchen when 'Little Bird' had started playing again.

'I know how to make muffins just follow what i say okay' Ben told me

i bit my lip 'I don't trust you' i giggled. he pouted and and i smiled 'just kidding' he smiled and began pouring things in the bowl. While he wasn't looking i took a hand full of flower

'Ben..' i giggled. He turned and looked at me and i threw flour at him before running behind the counter for shelter. I looked up to see him pouring mixture down my back

'BEN!' i shouted laughing and grabbed the icing and wiped some down his face. The rain and the music was the soundtrack to our food fight. He chased me around the counter with the bowl of mixture, i giggled and screamed but eventually he cornered me. I had no choice to stand there and laugh while he bit his lip and poured some mixture over my head. I playfully hit him afterwards and he put some on his fingers and wiped it on my nose, i copied him and he dropped the mixture on the floor, his face now milimeters away from mine. I grabbed some flour quickly and and put it all over my hands and ran it through his hair before he could realize what i was doing, i stood up on tippy toes and after a few seconds i felt my self being lifted up and i wrapped my legs around his waist and found my self looking into his brown eyes. We stayed like that for a few seconds before he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back. Ed sheeran still playing in the background.

'Get a room' i herd someone say from behind us suddenly, i jumped down and saw Harry glaring at us.

'We had one untill you came higgings' i told him scowling. he glared at us before storming out of the room.
