Chapter Twenty-Three

Skye's p.o.v

We all stood around the kitchen dripping wet. Josh returned with a bunch of towels and I wrapped myself up in one shivering. I suddenly felt someone pick me up still wrapped in my towel. I screamed and turned around to see josh he threw me over his wet shoulder my wet hair dripping down his back.

" put me down!!" I yelled .

" I'm warming you up ." He laughed before putting me down. At that moment harry walked in looking pissed off.

" harry what's wrong?" I asked still standing in the middle of the kitchen freezing cold. Harry walked over to josh and shoved him into a wall .

" harry!" Louis said shocked.

" why did you tell Ariel about Florence ?!" He spat.

" why do you care?." Josh stood up, riasing his eyebrows at harry

" why does it matter it was a long time ago.." I said getting no response. " right?" I added. All eyes fell on me.

" he broke up with her a few days ago." Louis sighed.

I rolled my eyes, i'd had enough of this fucking drama, i left the room running upstairs to go find Ariel.

" Ariel ... Ariel!?" I yelled but no answer . She wasn't in our room either. Suddenly there was a knock at the front door.

" I'll get it !" I screamed tumbling down the stairs . Stood at the door was Madison

" oh hey Madison," I smiled welcoming her in. " you and Ariel weren't at school today I was worried so I brought chocolate." She smiled but looking down at me.

" hey did you go to the beach or something ?" She said looking at my bikini. I briefly smiled .

" I took a day off, i needed to take my mind of some thing... my urr... my parents passed away last night ." I said, i wasn't sure how to put it. I was suprised i didn't cry, it just didn't feel real, it felt like i was talking about someone i didn't know

. " oh god." She said wrapping me tightly in her arms.

" I think I'll be okay for now." I said nodding thankfully as she pulled back " come through here let me introduce you too the boys." I said grabbing her arm and pulling her into the kitchen.

" boys listen up . This is my friend Madison. Madison meet the boys, boys meet Madison ." I smiled as she blushed when she shook hands with Zayn.

" just putting this out there she is single" I said making Maddison cringe, i pulled Josh and Niall out into the hallway Because I trusted him the most.

" josh niall , Ariel is missing!" I whispered as calmly as I could.

" we need to go find her!" Niall whispered .

" I have no clue where she would be though!" I cried

" just get in the car ." Josh yelled

I stumbled into the car. Niall and josh sat up front while I sat in the back seat keeping an eye out for Ariel.

" do you have any clue where she would be?" Josh asked me

" no none! Who would she be with she has no other friends apart from me Madison and you guys." I said warily.

" this is such a mess!" Niall added . We drove for hours around the village and town but we couldn't find her.

" should we ring mom and dad?" Niall suggested to josh. I interrupted shaking my head .

" not yet !" I pleaded, not wanting to cause a fuss. I pulled out my phone an calling ariels number there was no reply I calls about 9 or 10 times whe eventually i heard a voice on the other end of the line.

"Ariel...?!" I cried down the phone.

" 54th street?! What why are you there.ok stay calm where on our way. " I hung up the phone

" hurry up josh she's on 54th street." I said. Josh slammed on the accelerator .

" why is she there ?!" Niall asked .

" I've got no clue but we need to hurry!" I called out. We finally got to 54th street.

" okay where abouts is she?" Josh asked scanning his eyes down the street .

" behind mickeys diner." I yelled spotting it and jumping out of the car. I stumbled up to the back of the diner. Niall josh and I crouched behind a green wheely bin.

" oh my god. She's not alone ." Josh whispered. My eyes widened and I listened closley.

" we got the money now get rid of them." I heard a raspy voice speak . I tugged at Josh's arm

" do something!" I cbegged . I watched as josh peaked his head over.

" Ben?!" He whispered double looking.

" oh my god niall they have guns." Josh whispered . Niall jumped up and grabbed something from the front of the building .

" stay here." Niall whispered to me. Josh and niall stood up with crowbars in there hands

" be careful." I whispered before tears streamed down my face. I peaked my head over the wheely bin and watched niall and josh knock out both of the guys with guns with the crowbar. Niall grabbed Ben and josh grabbed Ariel .

" they're not going to stay like thar for long We need to go ! " Niall cried. Tugging at bens arm and josh doing the same to Ariel. I ran and hugged Ariel. Who was sobbing into my shoulder.

"Wait !" Ben called escaping the grip of niall. I watched as Ben took a bag from one of the unconscious guys.

" let's go!" Josh yelled. We all clambered into the car.

" what about my car?" Ariel said pointing to our car which was parked over the street.

" we'll get it tommrow ." Josh said pulling out 54th street.

" what in the bag ." I asked Ben who had the bag tightly in his grip.

" m-money ." He stuttered .

" how much?" Niall asked

" 2,000." He replied. My jaw dropped as did everyone else's in the car. " how did you get that much money ?" Josh asked.

" I took it." Ben admitted.

" from the guys back there?" I asked confused.

" no from Paul." He sighed . Josh slammed on the breaks . And my eyes widened.

" just drive home, we'll talk about it later." Niall said calmly . We all drove back home in silence. We gathered everyone in the kitchen. Jut after Madison left.

" I needed the money I owed it to the guys who took me in when I first ran away, they found out were I was staying , with you guys and asked for 2,000 or they broke into the house and destroyed everything. So I decided to steal the money from Paul's office and give it to them, but that's when I have them the money they said they were gonna kill me. I called up Ariel I don't no why but she did and she came, but they just said the were gonna kill her aswell. " he panted. I glared at Ariel. And stormed upstairs . A few minutes later Ariel came into the room

" what's wrong with you ?" She asked.

" you didn't tell me, you didn't fucking tell me Ben called you . You could've been fucking killed for fuck sake Ariel." I screamed, this was ridculous we would never of got in this much trouble back in Calli.

" I -Im sorry I thought I could handle it on my own ." She cried

" fucking hell Ariel it's always the same, you think you can handle it but you can't you know I thought you had changed I thought hey were finally getting along. But then you always go and screw things up Ariel always!! Just another thing to add to my long list of problems. You're a waste of space Ariel just fucking get out my sight." I screamed burning red in anger and I stormed out my room.
