Chapter Twenty

Ariels POV

Once Skye arrived home and joined me she dumped her shit down on the bed and sighed

'You're so lucky you got out when you did, i've got like a million pieces of homework to do you have to help me' she pleaded. I groaned

'Fine' i mumbled 'You need to go get a calculator though i don't fucking have one' i told her. She nodded and jumped leaving the room.

i sat on the floor, science and math books spread out around me as i waited for Skye to return. Suddenly i heard a knock on the door

'Skye you don't need to knock its' your room too' i laughed. The door opened and in walked a curly haired boy

'It's not skye' he smirked before shutting the door behind him and taking a seat

'Oh hi Harry?' i questioned, since when did Harry want anything to do with me.

'How's the homework going?' he asked me shiftily

'Harry we both know you don't give a shit about homework, what did you really want?' i asked him sighing.

'I was just wondering if it was true that you slapped Florence?' he asked me

i shrugged 'Yeah why?' to be honest i felt guitly about that, and i ahd completely over reacted but i wasn't about to tell Harry that.

'I-i just want to know why? Was she saying anything about me, is that why?' he asked me nervously

'No don't flatter yourself Harry' i said rolling my eyes 'She was being a bitch to my sister, why would it have anything to do with you?' i asked

He shook his head 'No reason' he muttered before leaving the room. Skye entered pushing past him

'What was that about?' She asked me

'I don't even know' i sighed 'Anyways did you get a calculator?' i asked

She shook her head before lowing her voice 'I was about to go in when i heard Niall and Josh talking about us!'

'Oh my fucking god saying what?' i asked

'It was something to do with those blonde boys today remember? Josh said he didn't want anything to do with them again?' she told me eyes widening

'What do you reckon they did something to him?' i asked her

'Who knows Ariel' she mumbled

'Why don't you ask him?' I asked her

'I guess i could try' She started but was cut off by Louis shouting that dinner was ready. i made my way downstairs skye following behind me and into the kitchen where pizza was being put out on the tables.

'So how was your first day?' Louis asked through a mouthful of pizza

'Boring to be honest' I shrugged

Niall shot me a look 'you slapped a girl around the face! Boring? Really?' he laughed

I just shrugged at him 'She was being a bitch to Skye!' i told him easily

Skye spoke up then 'Although we did see these to really hot boys in reception' she smiled at Josh. God she was sneaky, this was how she was going to find out who they where.

Josh looked away quickly 'hey josh do you know who they where?' everyone's eyes where on Josh now. He coughed uneasily

'The Rowan Brothers' he said uneasily

'oh so you know them?' i asked Josh as casually as i could

All the boys looked down suddenly all too interested in their food.

'You could say' he mumbled

'What are you hiding?'Skye asked the boys around the table. It was silent for a few minutes before Josh spoke up

'Guys we've got too tell them?' He was cut off by the phone ringing.

'I'll get it then' i sighed when nobody else at the table moved

'Hello?' i asked down the phone

'Ariel? Is that you?' i heard my aunites voice down the phone

'Auntie May, whats up?' i asked her

'I'm afraid i have some bad new Ariel' she mumbled

'Why what's wrong? Is it about mum and dad?' i asked her confused, maybe they where extending there trip or something

i heard a deep breath from the other end of the line 'They where in a accident Ariel' i heard her speak

'But they're okay right' i managed to get out

'No Ariel, i'm afraid your mother and father are gone' she whispered

'Gone to hospital?' i asked in vain, clutching at any hope i had left

'No Ariel they've passed away was the last words i herd before i dropped the phone and slipped to the floor. They couldn't be dead? We'd been away four days, this had to be some sort of joke they couldn't just die. I was vaugely aware of Skye asking me something but i couldn't hear her, all i could hear was my aunties words over and over. No this wasn't possible? They couldn't be, it just can't be right?
