Chapter 9- Day with Ryan and Chloe (Ryan's sister)

Today I woke up at 8:22am which is really early for me. I could hear Jody silently snoring so I knew she was still asleep. I just laid in bed smiling to myself about how last night Ryan and I were looking through his sisters letters. Then May-lee then came into the room to tell him she'd be coming over today and how excited Ryan looked.
*flashback starts*
I suddenly hugged Ryan whispering in his ear "told you that you'd see her soon." I could feel him smile against my ear. When we both pulled away from the hug, I could see Ryan start to lean in.... I then leant in too. All of a sudden his lips were on mine, I didn't know how to react so at first I didn't kiss him back. I eventually did though and omg it felt like magic. We then pulled away from eachother and both couldn't stop blushing. He then stood up saying "I'd like you to meet Chloe tomorrow, if that's okay?" I stood up saying "I'd love to." He smiled at my reply. "Well I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight Katie." I opened the door, turning to him before I went saying "See ya and goodnight." Once I had walked back into my room I did a tiny excited squeal. "What happened to you?" "Omg Jody you scared me! Nothing happened." She looked like she didn't believe me, I hope she wouldn't question me. "Hmm okay if you say so." I then got ready for bed and jumped into bed. I fell straight to sleep.
*flashback ends*
"Morning." I looked over to Jody smiling. "Hi." "You seem happy today? What's up?" "Nothing.. okay well Ryan's sister Chloe is coming round and he wants me to meet her,which I think is nice." "Aw sweet, but there's something else you're not saying." I shook my head no, as I got out of bed and went with my clothes to the bathroom. When I got back Jody was straight out the door.
Jody's PoV> I quickly ran past Katie as soon as she got back into our bedroom to go to the toilet to get ready. Once I was ready I went downstairs and immediately found Carmen and Tee sitting in the lounge watching television. "Guys, I have to tell you something before Katie or Ryan come downstairs." They straight away looked at me to see what I had to say. "She came in last night after chilling in Ryan's room looking really happy and again this morning. She says she's just excited cause Ryan's sister is coming round today and he wants her to meet Chloe, but I'm sure there's something else." They both looked at me and said "we'll try get her to tell us tomorrow." I nodded then we all continued to watch tv until the others came down for breakfast.
Back to Katie's PoV> After a while of reading my book, I went downstairs to the dining room. As I sat down everybody else started walking in, Floss and Tyler sat next to me. When I looked up I saw Ryan was sat opposite me. I found myself staring at him, then he looked up and caught my eye so we both blushed and looked down. I heard whispers coming from Jody,Carmen and Tee, but just ignored it. "Ryan, Chloe will be here just after lunch." I heard May-lee say as I was eating my breakfast. "Okay thanks." I heard Ryan reply. After breakfast had been eaten and the washing up had been washed I went into the garden to play a game of frisbee with Kazima. A few of the others then came outside to join in. Before we knew it, the time was 12:56pm and we were having a late lunch. We were all sat outside in the garden eating when Mike looked at his watch, then went inside.

After eating, we all went inside and I decided to go to my room to listen to music with only one earbud in. A few minutes later I stop my music and hear Mike speaking to a couple of people. I then heard a knock my door and Ryan came in. "Chloe's downstairs, you coming?" "Yes, but I'm nervous to meet her." "You'll be fine, she'll like you just like I like you." I nodded as I followed him downstairs and into the quiet room. When we walked in, I saw a girl with brown hair in a wheelchair. "Hi I'm Chloe, nice to meet you." As she held her hand out for me to shake. I shook it and said "Hi, I'm Katie." Us three sat in the room for about an hour talking and laughing together. "Should we go for a walk?" Ryan asked. Chloe and I looked at eachother then back at Ryan saying "yes." Ryan went to ask Mike and then came back to say "Mike said yes, but we can't walk that far." Once we were outside walking around I offered to push Chloe's wheelchair for a bit. "I showed Katie some of your letters, I hope you don't mind Chloe." "Of course I don't mind, she's a lovely girl." Chloe said as she smiled at me and said "I'll push myself for a bit." I smiled back as Ryan appeared next to me and started grabbed my hand. I looked down at our hands then to Ryan and saw him smirk. "So, what's going on with you?" Chloe spoke up. I almost forgot she was with us...oops. "Urr.." "We're just really good friends sis." Chloe looked puzzled then shot me a wink. We eventually started walking back to the care home, Ryan was still holding my hand but I didn't mind. Once we got back inside, I told Ryan and Chloe I'd be back in a second cause I needed the toilet.
Ryan's PoV> I took Chloe to the dining room and sat down. "Sis.. What do you think of Katie?" "She's kind, funny and really pretty." I mumble under my breath "I agree." "Why do you ask?" "Cause I'm going to ask her out soon and I wanted to know whether you approve." "I do approve."

Back to Katie's PoV> After going to the toilet I walked back downstairs and just as I did Mike walked out of the office. "Oh hi Katie, do you know where Ryan and Chloe are?" "No I was just looking for them actually." "Ryan? Chloe?" "Coming." They both replied as I heard a knock at the front door. I answered the door to see a random women. "I'm Chloe's social worker, I've come to collect her." I let her in, just as I saw Chloe wheeling towards the door and Ryan following behind. "It was nice to see you again Chloe." Mike said as he walked back into his office. "Was great to see you again sis, keep sending your letters I'll always read them. Love you!" Ryan says as he hugs her. "I will don't worry, love you too!" Chloe explains as she hugs back. I walked up to Chloe and hugged her, then when I pulled back I said "it was lovely to meet you, I hope we meet again sometime." She smiled. Ryan and I walked out the front waving as Chloe drove off. I turned to Ryan to see him crying a little bit so I hugged him tight then pulled back. He then held my hands and leant forward to kiss my cheek. We then both walked indoors to see it was already dinner time. I sat next to Mo as Ryan sat opposite me again. A while after dinner, some of the others were watching CBBC on the tv. When I walked into the lounge I noticed Ryan wasn't there, so I walked upstairs and heard him in his room. So I knocked on the door and a couple of seconds later he opened it. He led me in and we both sat on his bed. "Thank you for joining us today Katie." "No problem, Chloe's an amazing girl and I'm so happy I get to spend time with you." "Me too." He said as he smiled at me. "I'm going to bed, see ya tomorrow." I say as I walk out his room. "Night." He replied as he waved me out. A few minutes later I was dressed in my pjs and in bed. I went straight to sleep because I was so tired.
