Chapter 11- Going on a date with Ryan.

I'm so nervous, but excited for today. Today's the day Ryan and I go on our date. I look at the time and it's 9:38am which is sorta early. I heard a yawn next to me and saw that Jody had woken up as well. I looked towards her as she looked at me and said "how you feeling about today?" "Nervous, but excited." "You'll be fine, it'll be great." She then got up and went off to the bathroom to get ready. Once she was done she told me I'd see her downstairs in a bit so I went to go get dressed in a casual outfit and then I'd put my date outfit on later. I then walked down to breakfast sitting next to Tony and Harry. When breakfast had been devoured and the washing up had been done I started walking up to my room because I forgot my phone. As I was walking into my room, Ryan came out of his. "I'll meet you by the door at 13:30pm by the door for our date. Is that okay?" He asked looking anxious. I nodded and went into my room. I got my phone and when I was walking down I bumped into Tee. "Oh hey Katie." "Hey, where you going?" "Ganna go watch some tv, wanna join?" I nodded. Tee and I then sat in the lounge and watched some tv.
Ryan's PoV> I'm so nervous for our date, I don't even know what I'm ganna wear or what I'm going to say or what I'm going to do. I decided to go ask Mike and May-lee for some help. I knocked on the office door and May-lee answered. "Hi Ryan, how can we help?" I walked in,shut the door behind me and said "I erm..I'm taking *cough* Katie out on a date later and I don't know what to do for it." Mike then suddenly looked up and started listening to our conversation. "How about you take her out for a picnic on the field near the park? I can make some sandwiches and put some fruit in a basket for you both." "Omg that's an amazing idea, thank you so much May-lee." Mike then spoke up. "So are you two thinking about becoming a thing?" He said whilst smirking. I looked down at my feet and replied "I was going to ask her at the end..if she'd like to be my girlfriend but I wanted your permission." I looked up to see Mike and May-lee talking then he looked at me. "Yes that's fine, just don't be too ya know around the other kids." I nodded. "What time you going on this date?" May-lee asked. "I'm meeting her by the door at 13:30." I answered. She then pointed to the clock and I saw it was already 13:00! May-lee ran into the kitchen whilst saying "I'll get the stuff done for it. You go get ready!" So I ran upstairs and got changed into my red chequered shirt and black jeans. I put my phone in my pocket and got down the stairs luckily before Katie. I heard her in a room. May-lee passed me the basket with the food,drink and blanket in. She said "Don't be back too late." I thanked her and nodded.
Back to Katie's PoV> I looked at the time and saw it was 12:50 so I went upstairs to my room and got changed. I made sure I had everything and that my phone was with me. I looked at the time and saw it was coming up to 13:25pm so I walked downstairs.

When I got to the bottom of the stairs I saw Ryan looking very handsome whilst holding a picnic basket. I looked at him as he said "You look very pretty Katie." "You look good too." We told Mike we were leaving and he waved us goodbye. Ryan was holding the basket with one hand, but his other hand kept brushing mine. I took our hands and intertwined them together. He glanced me and smiled. We soon arrived at the field that was near the park and put the blanket down.
R~ "I'm so happy that you agreed to come on this date with me."
K~ "Why wouldn't I?"
He shrugged his shoulders and then handed me the tub which had sandwiches in. I took one and started eating it whilst he did the same. Once we had demolished them, we had something to drink and just laid down on the blanket next to eachother. I turned to face him and he turned to face me.
K~ "Thank for doing all of this Ryan. I didn't think you could get any cuter." I said whilst smirking.
R~ *fake being shocked* "I can be cute thank you very much!"
I laughed at him and then sat up. I took a glance at Ryan to see he had his eyes closed so I took a raspberry and put it on his nose. He sat up quickly looking confused. "What happened?" I shrugged my shoulders trying to hide my laugh, but I couldn't so I just started laughing. He then looked to the side of him to see the raspberry and he put it by my mouth. I opened my mouth and ate it. "Yum."
R~ "I brought my phone with me."
K~ "So did I."
R~ "Do you want to take some selfies?" I nodded so we both took out our phones.
AN: I know these aren't amazing, but I tried to edit photos so they looked like selfies. I'm sorry if they're awful.

We were having so much fun taking selfies, I couldn't stop smiling at funny and cute we both looked. Ryan then looked at me and said "erm..it may be too soon I'm not sure. But err..would you like to be my girlfriend?" Omg he's asked me to be his girlfriend, what do I say? I answered him by kissing him on the lips and soon enough he started kissing back. We then pulled away and I heard him say "I'll take that as a yes then." "Of course it's a yes." I then took out my phone and just as we were taking another selfie I looked at the time "shouldn't we get back it's almost 16:00pm?" He nodded. We then got up and started packing away all the stuff into the basket.

On our way back Ryan and I held hands whilst talking about random stuff. When we were walking towards the front door I saw Carmen,Jody and Tee looking out of the lounge window. When we got inside we were greeted by May-lee and Mike. May-lee took the basket from Ryan's hand and I quickly said to Ryan "I'll be back in a bit." "Ok." I ran upstairs into my room and as soon as I sat down the girls came in. They all sat on Jody's bed waiting for me to talk. "So we went to the field near the park and had a picnic. We had some food, took some selfies and yeah came back here." I thought I'd see if they guessed anything else. "Omg that's so cute." I heard Carmen say. I showed them the selfies we took on my phone and I heard them all awh. "Is that all that happened on the date?" Tee asked. "Well I mean we might have kissed again and I may now have a boyfriend.." She squealed. "You two are so cute." "Anyway, let's go downstairs and watch television."
Ryan's PoV> I followed Mike into his office and sat down. Just as he was about to ask me something May-lee walked in and closed the door behind her. "Anyway, how did it go?" He asked. "Amazing, thank you so much for helping both of you." "So, is she now your girlfriend?" May-lee questioned. I looked down and couldn't help but blush. "We'll take that as a yes." I looked up and nodded at both of them. "Well I'm happy for you both, off you go now and do something." I walked out the office and bumped into Jody who smirked at me which I found strange.

Back to Katie's PoV> I sat down in the lounge next to Billie and spoke to her for a bit. We were watching tv until suddenly dinner was ready. Sasha and I were next to eachother at the dining table this evening. Once we finished eating and the others had finished washing up. I told Jody that I was going up to bed straight away because I was tired. She told me she'd be up later. When I finished getting ready I was about to get into bed when someone knocked at my door. I opened it to find Ryan standing there. He was showing me his phone. His lockscreen was me and him from our date today. I picked up my phone and showed him that my lockscreen was the same. We both laughed and I said "thank you for today boyfriend." He then replied "no problem girlfriend." "I'll be off to bed now, see you tomorrow." "See you tomorrow." We kissed eachother goodnight and whilst we were doing that we heard a *cough cough* We pulled away to see Jody standing there laughing. "Night Ryan" "Night Katie." I watched Ryan speed of to his room and I quickly got into bed hiding my face cause I was so embarrassed. "Well that was interesting.. Night Katie" I heard Jody say as she got into bed. I looked up at her and smiled. "Night Jody."
