The New Dumping Ground Girl.

Chapter 3- Day in town.

This morning I woke up at around 9:00am. Jody was just waking up next to me as well, "morning Jody." She yawned really big and said "morning Katie." We then both got up and I went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. On the way downstairs I bumped into Ryan. "Morning princess." "I'm not a princess Ryan, but morning." I said whilst chuckling slightly. "You're a princess to me. Anyway, let's walk down to breakfast." Once we walked downstairs, we went into the dining room and sat down. Everyone else then joined us. I decided to have my favourite cereal fruit loops. Mike then walked in, "Morning everybody, how did you all sleep?" Everyone hummed as if to say good. I then spoke up and said "I did sleep well, but Jody snores really loudly sometimes. Sorry Jody" Everyone started laughing and she looked at me whilst saying "omg aha I'm so sorry." "Anyone wanna go into town with me and Tee this afternoon?" Sasha asked. I then answered "yeah sure." "I'll come as well, I wanna get out the house for a bit." Ryan said.

After eating breakfast we all went to get ready. I was taking about twenty pounds with me just in case I wanted to buy anything. Once the four of us were ready we said goodbye to Mike then set off. It about 15 minutes to walk into Town. "You going to buy anything?" I asked Sasha and Tee. "Yeah I need to buy some college things. Tee replied. "Not sure yet. Are you?" Said Sasha. "I'll have a look but probably not. Haha why did you come with us Ryan?" I asked wonderingly. "Felt like a walk and getting out of the house would be nice." He answered. I just nodded. Once we got into town, we all looked around the shops for a few hours with Tee buying some stationary things and the rest of us just looking. At about 12:30pm we went into McDonalds and got some lunch. "So when are we ganna go back?" I asked. "Hmm around 14:30pm?" Tee answered. I nodded at her reply. Once we finished our lunch, we started walking round some more shops. We went into Thornton's to buy some of my favourite chocolate, which is mint. We eventually started walking back to the care home cause we were all tired.

Once we got back Tee and I went up to our rooms and put our shopping away. We then went back downstairs and saw some of the others in the lounge watching tv. Tee went to go catch up and talk to Carmen whilst I sat next to Floss. "What you doing Flossy?" "Just colouring. Do you wanna help?" "Yeah sure." So I grabbed some coloured pens and helped her colour in her picture. A couple hours later the others that were in the garden came inside and either went to their room to chill or sat watching tv. We were watching DisneyChannel when all of a sudden Mike called us for dinner. "Thanks for helping me colour Katie." Said Floss. "No problem, it was good fun!"

I sat next to Tyler and Jody at dinner this evening and caught up with what they did today. They said that they either played catch in the garden or watched some magic show on tv. When we finished eating, it was about 7:30pm and I was already tired so I told everyone goodnight and went to bed. I got ready and decided to read my book. I was reading my book Harry Potter and the goblet of fire when Jody came in. "I've decided to come to bed, I want to sleep." "Yeah I'm about to go to sleep too." I explained. Once she was ready for bed, she turned the light off and said "goodnight." "Night Jody." I fell to sleep straight away.
