Chapter 6- Chris (my brother) comes to see me.

Authors Note: I try use the other children in different places I go, so it's not always one or two of them all the time.. haha does that even make sense? Anyway, hope you like it.

This morning I woke up at 8:45am. Jody was still asleep so I crept out of my room with my clothes and went to get washed and dressed. Once I was done I walked downstairs and into the lounge. "Morning." I say to Tee. "Morning Katie. How's you?" "Good thank you, my brothers coming to visit me today!!" "Omg awesome, I wish Johnny would come visit me." "Aw Tee, you'll see him again soon." I explained as I hugged her. We then both started watching tv whilst waiting for everyone to wake up. Eventually, everyone came downstairs and we decided to sit in the dining room for breakfast. I sat next to Tee and Floss this morning whilst eating my toast. After our breakfast, everyone else went to get ready or to sit in the lounge. I stayed behind and washed up. Whilst I was washing up, I felt someone's hands wrap round my waist so I turned round to find Ryan. "Morning cutie. You excited to see Chris today?" I looked down blushing and replied "yeah!" "Good. I really need to meet him and talk to him. See you later." I looked confused at that but then turned around to continue washing up. Once I was done, I walked outside to the garden to find Bailey, Mo and Sasha. Sasha noticed me and waved, so I waved back as I sat down on the swinging chair nearby. I sat there just watching Mo trying to score a goal against Bailey who was in goal. Mo kept failing, but eventually he scored a goal so I ran up to Mo and high fived him. Some of the others then came outside to join in. Kazima and Tyler came and sat next to me. I then spoke to Tyler about magic and Kazima was interrupting saying that Tyler wasn't very good so Tyler kept glaring at her. I kept laughing cause she was only joking. "Everybody, it's lunch time." May-lee says as she brings out some sandwiches and drinks. We all helped ourselves and as I was eating with Carmen, Mike came over wanting to speak to me quick. I walked over to Mike who said "your brother should be here in about an hour, you can both sit in the quiet room to catch up for a bit then get him to meet the others if you like." I nodded then went to sit back down.

An hour went by very quickly as I was so excited to see Chris. So whilst I was in my room getting something I heard Mike say "hi next to meet you, I'm Mike the head care worker here." I ran down the stairs so fast I almost tripped at the end. I ran into my brothers arms and hugged onto him like a leech. "Hey lil sis." I pulled back and smiled at him. I then turned round to all the other children staring at me and Chris. "Everybody this is my brother Chris." I then heard a chorus of hey's and hi's. "Right everyone scoot he'll maybe come say hi later." I then led Chris to the quiet room which is where Mike left us to chat.
C~ "So how you been?"
K~ "Good. Except yesterday I was almost sick because I miss you so much."
C~ "Aw sis. I miss you lots too. So, made friends?"
K~ "Yeah made friends with basically everyone."
C~ "Like any of the boys here?"
I blushed looking down. "Ooh who?"
K~ "I kinda like this boy called Ryan, but he probably doesn't like me back."
C~ "You never know."
K~ "Wanna come meet the others?" He nodded, so I led him through the kitchen and into the garden. Jody,Ryan,Bailey,Kazima and Tyler were playing football. Tee,Carmen and Sasha were on the swinging chair. Mo,Floss, Finn and Harry were sat on the floor picking the grass for some weird reason. Chris and I decided to sit on the bench opposite Tony and Billie. "Hi, I'm Tony and this is my twin sister Billie." Chris smiled at them both and replied "Hi, you're both very sweet." All of a sudden Ryan was walking over towards us, I started feeling anxious about what he was going to say. "Nice to meet you, I'm Ryan." As he offered his hand to my brother. "Ah, nice to meet you too." As he shook Ryan's hand. Chris then looked at me and smirked. "I know this is weird to ask since I've only just met you, but can I please talk to you in private Chris?" Chris nodded and then followed him to the hidden place in the bushes. I began to get nervous at what they might be talking about.
Ryan's PoV> Chris and I sat down on the seats in the hidden place then I took a deep breath to ask him something. "So what's up?" He asked. "You're the only person in Katie's life that truly cares about her and I want you to know that I can care for her as well." He nodded for me to continue. "Would you allow me to maybe next week ask Katie to go out with me?" He looked happy that I asked which was weird. "You seem like a really lovely and caring guy Ryan, so yes I will." "Thank you so much!! I care for her loads." We then got up and just as we were walking back to Katie he turned to me to say pretending to be scary "If you even dare to hurt her, you'll be sorry." I shook my head violently.
Back to Katie's PoV> After about 5 minutes or so they both smiled at eachother then Chris nodded towards me as him and Ryan are their way to the others near the football goal. Bailey then spoke up "Alright we'll get into two teams of three. Ryan,Jody and Chris in one team. Then Kazima,Tyler and I in the other. Let's go!" Both teams then battled it out against each other and after ages, Chris's team won. Everyone else cheered and I high fived all of his team. We then all walked back inside to either sit in the lounge or go upstairs.

The time is currently 16:46pm and Chris says he has something in his car for me so I should wait here. A couple of seconds later, he comes back in with a wrapped present. I sit on the stairs and opened it. "OMG a ted baker bag! I love it bro, thank you so much." I said as I hugged him. "I should probably get going." I nodded. "I'll see you soon though. Today's been amazing and I think you've made some really good friends here." "Yeah I've loved having you here and I sure have. Come again soon." All of sudden Mike walked up to him and shook his hand whilst saying "Hope you have a safe trip back." Chris replied "Cheers and thank you for arranging this." I then heard someone coming down the stairs so turned to see Ryan come and sit on the stairs. He smiled at me. Mike turned to Chris saying "it was Ryan's idea, he could see how much Katie was missing you." Chris looked at Ryan and thanked him whilst giving Ryan a weird smirk. Chris then looked back at me gave me a smile and big hug, then said "see you soon lil sis." He walked out waving at me as he went and got into his car. After he drove off, I ran past Ryan on the stairs and went into my room taking my new bag with me. I laid on my bed, got my book and started reading. I also decided to listen to my music with my headphones. Not long after that it was dinner time so I walked down to the dining room. I sat next to Harry and Kazima whilst eating my tea. After eating I was really tired so I said goodnight to everyone and went up to bed. I got dressed into my pans as and once I was in bed I noticed a text from Chris saying he was almost home so I sent one back explaining how I was happy to see him today. I then proceeded to put my phone on charge and go to sleep.
