Chapter 19- Maths exams.

AN: I'm so sorry that this chapter is up so late, I hope you still enjoy it.

This morning I woke up at around 8:47am which is too early, but I couldn't be bothered to go back to sleep so I just got up. When I had finished getting washed and dressed I checked my phone to see I had a text message from my friend Holly saying "hey it's Holly, do you have your maths exams today?" I replied saying that I did. She quickly texted back telling me to meet her by reception at 11:20am so we could both walk in together. I messaged her back saying okay then walked downstairs into the lounge. Once I got into the lounge I saw a few of the others just sitting and talking to eachother. I was about to sit down on the sofa when May-lee shouted that breakfast was ready, so I walked into the dining room. I sat down next to Tyler and started eating. When I had finished I went back upstairs and revised until it was time to go. The time went really fast because I soon heard Mike calling me downstairs to go to my exam. Before I left some of the others wished me good luck which was found really nice of them, but I didn't see Ryan downstairs. Mike and I soon got to the school so I said goodbye to him and walked into reception. I walked through the doors and saw Holly already waiting for me. "Hey you, I can't believe it's your birthday in 2 days!" She said as she hugged me. "Same omg!" As I hugged her back. "Anyway let's go get these horrible maths exams over and done with." I nodded at her as we went into the hall and sat down at our seats. As we sat down a paper was placed in front of us it was the non calculator one first so our calculators had to be put under our table so we wouldn't use them. "You may begin." Spoke the invigilator. I started straight away because I wanted to get it finished quickly.

Ryan's PoV: The time is currently 11:30pm and I haven't done anything. I haven't been downstairs at all because I don't feel well so I'm still in bed. I heard Katie leave with Mike to go off to her maths exams, I feel a bit bad for not saying goodbye and wishing her luck but she'll understand when I tell her why later. *knock knock* "who is it?" "It's Harry, can I talk to you?" "Yeah, come in." He walked in and sat on the end of my bed. "What's wrong Ryan?" "I don't know mate, I just feel a bit down." "Oh I see, do you want me to bring you some lunch?" "No, it's okay I'll come downstairs in a minute but thank you." He nodded and walked off. I then got up and just as I was walking to the bathroom the twins came up to me. Tony spoke up and said, "It's Katie's birthday in two days, but we're throwing her a surprise party tomorrow. Can you come with us into town to get some things?" "Yeah sure, let me just get ready and have a small bit of food." They both nodded and walked off downstairs. I walked into the bathroom and got ready then made my way down the stairs. Once I was down I heard a few of the others talking in the lounge as I walked into the dining room. May-lee was just finishing tidying up as I grabbed a ham sandwich. "Oh hi Ryan, how are you?" "Ehh feel a bit crap, but I think I'll be okay." "Oh ok, what are you going to do now?" "Go into town with the twins to get stuff for Katie's party tomorrow and I need to get her a present too." "Okay sounds good, see you later." I then walked into the lounge to tell the twins we should get going. Town wasn't that far away so we got there quickly. We first of all walked into a party shop to get some balloons and party poppers. After that, the twins went into a card and present shop to buy Katie something. I decided to buy her a card and then go to a special shop to buy her a really cute present. Once we had got everything we started walking back home. I looked at the time to see it was 12:20pm, woah I didn't realise it was that late. When we got back May-lee was waiting for us. "Hi guys, did you get everything?" "Yeah, thank you Ryan for going with us." Billie replied. "No problem, hey May-lee when's lunch?" "In about 10ish mins I think." She replied. "Okay thank you." She nodded as she walked back into the office. I just decided to sit in the lounge and play a game on my phone until lunch was ready. Time went quick and it was already 12:44pm which was when we got told lunch was done. Once I had eaten I decided to go sit outside in the little hiding place between the bushes and just relax.

Back to Katie's PoV:  I looked up at the clock to see it was 13:14pm. I'm so tired, these maths exams have been going on for ages so I'm glad to be going home now. "Okay times up, you may go." Said the invigilator. I got up and waited outside so I could say bye to Holly. I soon saw her coming as she rushed to hug me. "That's my birthday present for you, did you like it?" I chuckled and replied. "It was the best." "Haha I'm glad, I hope to see you again soon Katie." "Yeah, I'll see you soon but I'll text you." She nodded as she walked off. I then walked into the car park to find Mike waiting for me. I walked up to the minivan, opened the door and got in. "Hi Katie, how were they?" "Ehh okay, I'll hear about my results in about a week." "Oh that's good." He said as we drove off. Soon enough we were back home and I was attacked in a hug by Billie and Tony. "Hey girls, I missed you both today." "We missed you too." They both said. "Do you know where Ryan is?" I asked them. "They both shook their heads as Tyler popped his head out of the lounge and said "he's in the garden." "Thanks Tyler." I then walked into the garden to try find him. I looked around until I found him in the secret hiding place between the bushes, he was sleeping. He looked really cute, I didn't wanna wake him up. I sat down on the chair next to him and gently shook him. "Ryaan? Ryan wake up." I saw him slowly open his eyes and then look at me. "Hey sleepy head, how are you?" He yawned and replied "I'm fine." "No you're not, what's wrong?" I said as I held his hand. He turned his chair around and looked down. "I just feel really down today." "Oh.. any reason why?" "Hmm, you know when you just feel really fed up and you don't know why?" I nodded. "Well I feel like that today." "Aw well I'm here now, let's play something." "Don't feel like playing anything." Ryan complained whilst looking down. "come on, let's cheer you up." I said as I grabbed his hands and stood him up. We then played the game it for a long time, until we were both tired so decided to go inside. We went up to mine and Jody's room and laid down on my bed facing eachother. "Do you feel better now?" "Yeah, thank you." He replied as he leant forward and gave me a peck on the lips. After he did that he asked, "you excited for your birthday?" I grinned whilst replying "Yeah I'm so excited, have you got me a present?" He pretended to be thought then answered. "Hmm I might do, but you'll have to wait and see." I pouted. "I wanna know." "You'll find out soon, now come on let's have nap before dinner." I nodded as I put my head on his chest whilst closing my eyes. I could feel his heart beating which was really weird, but adorable. I then went to sleep and dreamt about me, my brother Chris, Ryan and Ryan's sister Chloe going on a holiday.

Ryan's PoV: I have just woken up from the nap Katie and I were having before dinner. I looked at the clock to see it was 16:53pm, woah we slept for a long time. I'm so grateful for Katie, she's really cheered me up, I love her loads and I don't know what I'd do without her. I sneakily took her phone and typed in her password. She told me what it was in case of an emergency. I remember her talking about her friend so I found her contact and texted her saying I'm one of Katie's friends text me about Katie's surprise party tomorrow. She quickly replied saying okay. I then deleted the text messages so  when Katie woke up she wouldn't see them. I then took a selfie of me with her sleeping next to me. I then locked her phone, put it back on the bedside table just as she was starting to wake up. "Evening Katie" she smiled as she yawned. We then both stood up and made our way downstairs. We sat in the lounge and watched television for a br until dinner was ready. It quickly became dinner time so we all sat down in the dining room and ate. Once we were done, Katie said goodnight and went to bed. I then went up to bed and looked at my phone for a while. I noticed a text from Katie's friend Holly asking about the party. I replied saying that she should get to the house for about 13:35pm. She then asked what I got Katie for a present so I told her and she told me she'd get something to go with it. We then both said goodnight to eachother and I went straight to sleep.
