Chapter 20- My surprise birthday party.

Back to Katie's PoV: I looked to the side of me to see that it was 5am. Why have I woken up at this time? It's too early I thought so I went back to sleep. I was still sleeping until I heard someone mutter something outside my door. I then heard the door open and close. I opened my eyes to see Jody looking at me. "Morning Katie." I gave a small wave as I yawned. "Do you wanna go shopping for a bit this morning with me and Mike after breakfast?" I nodded as I said "I'll just go get ready." "Okay I'll meet you downstairs." I smiled at her as she left. I got ready then walked downstairs with my phone in hand. I then walked into the dining room and sat next to Tee. Once I had eaten I saw Jody and Mike waiting for me by the front door. I heard some of the others in the lounge and saw that May-lee was now in the office. Mike said goodbye to her and then we all walked out. "So where are we going?" I asked. "Well I need to get some money from the bank and Jody wanted you to help her find something in a shop." Mike answered. "Oh I see." "What did you need help finding Jody?" I asked as I looked at her. "This book called Jane Eyre." "Oh I've heard of that." "Cool." Once we got into town, Mike said he had to go get some money so sent Jody and I to go walk around the shops for a bit.
May-lee's PoV: I sat in my office as I waved goodbye to Mike and then called everyone. "Okay everyone, are we ready?" They all nodded. "Okay Kazima and Carmen you do the cake. Tyler, Bailey and Mo you do the balloons. Tee and Sasha you make the cupcakes. Twins you can make the happy birthday banner. Finn, Harry and Floss you tidy up the lounge. Ryan you do the.. Wait where's Ryan?" I asked. "In his room." Tony replied. "Okay everyone go do your jobs, I'll be back in a minute to help." I walked upstairs and towards Ryan's room. I knocked on his door until I heard a "Come in." I opened the door and saw him sat on his bed with some wrapping paper. "Do you think Katie will like it?" He asked, as he showed me what he got her. "Aww, yes I think she'll love it." "Thanks, I hope she does." I smiled and said, "Once you've done that we'll need your help downstairs to get the party ready." He nodded and said, "I'll be down in a second, ooh also Katie's old school friend Holly is coming. I hope that's okay." "Yeah that's fine, anyway see you downstairs in a bit." I said as I walked out of his room and back downstairs. I walked into the lounge to see that the balloons and other decorations were up. I then walked into the kitchen to see the cupcakes were being frosted and the cake was coming out the oven. "Looking good guys." "Hey May-lee, what do you want me to do?" I turned around to see Ryan asking. "Erm, can you set up the snacks and drinks?" He nodded and walked over to the fridge. I looked at my phone to see it was coming up to 13:20pm so I knew I'd be getting a text from Mike soon.
Back to Katie's PoV:  Jody and I had finished walking round town and we're just on our way back to meet Mike. We went to the bookshop to get her book and then just walked around town just browsing. "Hey Jody, what time is it?" I asked. "Hmm.. about 13:20pm." She replied. I didn't realise it was so late. We walked up to Mike to see he was texting someone. "Hey girls, have fun in town?" We both nodded. "Let's head back home now then."

Once we got home and got through the door it seemed really quiet. May-lee came out of the office so I asked, "Where is everyone?" "Outside, ooh Katie I found this dress that you might like come try it on for me please." I nodded and followed May-lee upstairs. I went into my room to see a white and slightly netted dress so I put it on. "It's really pretty." I said to May-lee. "Yeah it is, come show everyone downstairs, they might be in the lounge." I nodded. We walked down, she then opened the doors to the lounge and let me go in first. "SURPRISE!!" I heard everyone shout as I walked in. "OMG! This is so awesome, thank you so much." I said as I hugged May-lee and Mike. The music then started playing so I went to go say thank you to everyone. Just as I walked over to Tee and Carmen I saw another girl with them. "Holly?!" She turned around and smiled as we ran to hug eachother. "I can't believe you're here, this is so amazing." "I know right, I've been getting to know everyone. Tee and Carmen are really nice, also you didn't tell me Ryan was your boyfriend!!" She said as she lightly punched me. I blushed looking down. "Haha sorry, who invited you then?" I asked. "Your boyfriend did." She replied. "Aww that's so cute of him, I'm going to go thank him.. Where is he?" "He was in the garden the last time I saw him." I nodded and wandered to the garden. When I walked outside, I saw Ryan sitting on the swinging bench humming. As soon as I came into his view he smiled. He then got up and we ran towards eachother. When we reached eachother he picked me up and spun me around. After a bit he put me back down and I asked him, "why aren't you inside?" To which he replied "I don't really like parties, but I'll come in for a bit with you." "Aw okay, let's go." Just as I was about to walk indoors, he grabbed my hand and turned me around. "By the way, you look beautiful." I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks as I nodded at his comment. We then made our way inside to see what everyone else was doing whilst holding hands. Once we got inside, I heard the music still playing so we walked into the lounge and up to Holly. "Yay your back!" She said. "Yep, we're here, what did we miss?" "Nothing much, well you missed out on Mike's epic dance moves." She said as she laughed. "Oh what a shame hahaa" I replied. I then danced with a few of the others and spoke to them which was really nice. All of a sudden everyone started singing happy birthday and I saw Mike walk towards me with a birthday cake. It was a cute cake that had pink, peachy then white spirally icing on. I blew out the candles and smiled round at everyone as they clapped. He then took the cake into the kitchen and I walked over to the girls to talk to them again.

The time is currently 16:15pm and the parties finished. I just hugged Holly goodbye and we said that we'd see eachother again soon. Just as she was leaving she passed me a card and present. "Aw you didn't have too!" I said. "You're my bestie, I wanted too." I hugged her again and waved as she walked back home. I then closed the door and went to the office. I knocked on the door until May-lee opened it. "I just wanted to say thank you to you both for the best party ever." May-lee smiled as Mike said "no problem." When I had finished speaking to them I went and sat in the lounge for a bit with some of the others. We watched some tv until it was dinner time. Most of us weren't that hungry cause we snacked earlier so we just sat and talked at the dining table. I was really tired so I said thank you and goodnight to everyone and walked up to bed. Jody and Ryan were also coming up to bed because they were tired. Just as I was about to walk into my room with Jody, Ryan whispered in my ear. "Come to my room once you've got changed." I nodded and walked into my room. I closed the door as Jody asked, "what did he want?" I looked at her and replied, "he wants to tell me something when I'm dressed." "Ooh.." I laughed and said "I'll see you later Jody, goodnight." She responded saying goodnight as I walked out the door to get changed.

Once I had gotten changed I wandered to Ryan's room. *knock knock* "come in." I heard him say so I walked in and closed the door behind me. I turned around to see him standing by his bed topless. I couldn't help but feel my mouth open wide at the sight, he was so hot. "Close your mouth babe you might catch a fly." He said as he lightly chuckled. I blushed and looked down. It was a few seconds before I saw his shadow near me and felt him lifting my chin up. We were now staring deeply into eachothers eyes until he leaned in. I leaned in too and finally our lips were connected. We kissed for a while until I felt him put his tongue in. We quickly pulled away for a breather. Then he sat on his bed and pulled me on top of him so I was straddling him. I saw him look at my eyes then at my lips and we started making out again. After a few minutes we both pulled away and couldn't stop panting. "That... was one... of the best... birthday presents... ever." I said to Ryan as I got off his lap and stood up. He nodded and then spoke up. "Sleep here tonight." "I want too, but what if Mike or May-lee come in." I spoke sounding worried. "It'll be fine, we'll say we were talking, you then fell asleep and you looked too cute so I didn't want to move you." I thought about it for a little bit and then nodded. We then both got into his bed, it was a bit of a squish, but I put my head on his chest so I was comfortable. "Goodnight Katie." I heard Ryan say as he played with my hair a bit which felt really nice. "Night Ryan, love you." "Love you too." I heard him say just before I fell asleep.
