The New Dumping Ground Girl.

Chapter 22- Bored day.

AN: I'm so so sorry that I haven't updated in ages. I've wanted too, but you know when you just can't be bothered for a while..? :/ Anyway, I'm back now so hopefully I can try write some more. Thank you for being so patient, I hope you still want to read my book.. love you all💗

This morning I woke up at 8:23am and decided to stay in bed for a while and just look at my phone. I played a few games until I fell asleep again. I suddenly woke up because I heard a *knock knock* "come in." Ryan walked in and sat on my bed. "Hey babe, it's lunchtime. Do you want some?" "It's lunchtime?" I looked at the clock on my bedside table to see it was 12:38pm. "Didn't realise I slept in for ages, yes please. I'll just go get dressed." He nodded at me as I walked out of my bedroom. I walked into the bathroom to get washed and dressed. Once I was finished I walked back into my bedroom to see Ryan waiting for me on my bed. He stood up and grabbed my hand as we walked down the stairs. We held hands into the dining room and sat down next to eachother. Soon everyone else joined us and May-lee gave us our lunch which was sandwiches. When we finished, Ryan and I decided to wash up. Once we done we had no idea what to do. "So what you wanna do now?" I thought about it for a while then said "Want to go outside and do something?" He nodded.

We walked outside to see a few of the others doing an obstacle course. We sat on the swinging chair watching them when Tee asked if we wanted to join in with her, Carmen, Harry and Finn. So Ryan and I said yes. Harry then spoke up and said "how about boys against girls?" We all nodded. Carmen then added "and the losers have to do the others chores for a week?" We laughed and replied "yes." Tee then explained the rules. "So you hop to the stick, then you skip to the hula hoop, spin the hula hoop round you five times, then run back to the start for the next person." "Sounds good." I spoke. We then stood in our lines and got ready to begin, it would go in this order:
Carmen versus Finn.
Tee versus Harry.
Me versus Ryan.
"Ready, steady, go!" Carmen shouted. All of a sudden Carmen and Finn started going against eachother. Finn finishing first, soon Carmen came back to our line. Harry and Tee then ran, Tee quickly getting ahead of Harry. As soon as Tee passed me I quickly started, I got to the hula hoop but tripped over it. Just as I picked it up again Ryan was by my side. He looked at me and smirked. We then used the hula hoop and ran back to the start. "Yay!! We won!" The boys started cheering. I got back to the girls and apologised. "Sorry girls." "Haha it's okay, we tried." Carmen replied whilst her and Tee chuckled. "You have to do our chores for a week now." Finn said whilst laughing. We all nodded, chucking slightly Tee replied, "well we'll start tonight." Her and Carmen then walked back into the house, whilst Ryan was chatting to Harry and Finn. Mike then suddenly appeared outside, "Katie can I have a word?" I nodded and said to Ryan that I'd see him later.

I followed Mike into the office as he closed the door behind me and we then both sat down. "So how are you?" "I'm good thank you." "How are you finding it here?" "Amazing, I love it." "I'm glad, now I've spoken to your brother and we've both had an idea." I nodded as he carried on. "You get your GCSE results soon so we both thought if you do well in them, you can go stay with your brother for a weekend because he doesn't live that far away. Would you like that?" I grinned and replied, "yes I really would like that." "Good, I'll let him know you would and we'll talk soon when your results arrive." I nodded. "Thanks Mike, you're really awesome." He laughed and said thanks. "Well I'll see you later Katie." "Yeah, cheers Mike."

I then walked upstairs to my room, laid on my floor and decided to do some colouring whilst listening to music. I started off listening to some Sia and Sabrina Carpenter then Niall Horan who was in my favourite boyband One Direction, but had a solo song out, I love it. "If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you. Drive highways and bound-ways to be there with you. Over and over the only truth, everything comes back to you. " Next, I listened to my favourite girls Little Mix and their new single. "Shoutout to my ex, you're really quite the man, you make my heart break and that made me who I am. Here's to my ex, hey look at me now, well I'm all up the way up I'll swear you'll never let me down." (AN: I love these songs/artists in real life aha😂🙉) "Having fun?" I heard a voice as they laid beside me. I turned my music down to see Ryan smiling at me. "Yep gotta love my music." "You looked really cute dancing and singing." "I'm crap at both, but thanks." He then took my phone and put on History by One Direction. I looked at him confused only to see him start singing the chorus. "You and me got a whole lot of history, woah. We could be the greatest team, that the world has ever seen." I then joined in with him. "You and me got a whole lot of history, woah. So don't let it go we can make some more, we can live forever." After the chorus I paused the song and asked him. "I didn't know you liked One Direction?" "Well I do have some secrets cutie and this is one of them." He replied then sat up, pulled me onto his lap and kissed me fully on the lips. I kissed him back when all of a sudden he placed me onto my bed. "Close your eyes." He whispered in my ear which made me get goosebumps. I did what he said and tried to listen to see what he was doing. I heard a lock of the door and then felt him sit behind me. I then felt his soft lips come into contact with my neck. "Hmm, so good." I felt smile at my comment then carry on. "Would you ever go further with me? Do you trust me?" He spoke. I nodded. "Aw, I'm glad. I wish we could do more but there's no.." *knock knock* "who is it?" I asked. "It's Mo, dinners ready." "Thanks I'll be down in a second." I replied. "Privacy." Ryan spoke as he finished off his sentence. I stood up, faced him then pulled him to his feet and looked him in the eyes. "I know, but don't worry we will one day and I can't wait till we do." I said whilst smiling. "Same." He answered whilst also smiling.

After we finished talking we both walked downstairs and went into the kitchen. May-lee was just getting dinner out the oven. "What's for dinner May-lee?" I asked. She took out the hot tray and replied, "Cheesy, tomato pasta bake." "Yumm!" I said as I sat down next to Floss. Once I had finished my first portion of pasta bake I was allowed a second which was really scrumptious. Eventually, I was finished so I got down from the table. I was very tired from today so I said goodnight to everyone and went up to bed. I also gave Ryan a kiss on the cheek before I went up.
