Chapter 5- Feeling sick & film night.

Authors Note: sorry it's taken me so long to update. I've been trying to finish some of my college work. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter.

The time is currently 11:30am and I've got a really bad headache & stomach ache. I walked down stairs in my dressing gown hearing everyone loudly in the lounge. As I was walked into the dining room I saw Jody,Tee and Ryan sitting at the table. May-lee and Mike then walked in and noticed me. "Oh hello Katie. You don't look too well are you okay?" By this time Ryan and the girls looked up to notice me. "I feel a bit unwell today, but I need to eat something." "I'll get you some tablets." May-lee said whilst Mike called everyone in for lunch. I sat opposite Ryan whilst everyone came in to sit down. I felt a bit embarrassed because of how I looked so I just looked over to Ryan. He mouthed "what's wrong?" I replied, "don't know just feeling really sick and missing my brother lots." He nodded understandingly. May-lee then gave me the tablets which I had and then decided to eat just some plain bread. All of a sudden my stomach gave a sharp stabbing pain and I felt like I was going to be sick. "OMG think I'm going to be sick!" I screamed as I ran up to the bathroom as quick as I could and locked the door. I could hear Mike follow behind me.
Ryan's PoV>  After I spoke to Katie, I could see that she was really feeling homesick from not seeing her brother in ages. Hmm that gives me an idea maybe I could ask Mike if we could arrange a special visit for her. All of a sudden I heard Katie scream "OMG think I'm going to be sick!" I looked up to see her run towards the bathroom and Mike running after her just in case she was. I knew why she was feeling sick so I quickly got up and was about to go after her when May-lee said "Ryan sit down, let Mike deal with it." I groaned and sat back down, getting a few strange looks from the other children. "Haha mate why you running after her?" Bailey asked. "Shut up!! I know her better than any of you." "Ryan stop, before you get yourself into trouble." May-lee explained.
Back to Katie's PoV> I haven't been sick yet, but I'm hunched over the toilet just in case I need to be. I then heard Mike speak outside of the bathroom "Katie why don't you come back to bed and sleep for a couple of hours?" I whispered back an okay so then flushed the toilet, brushed my teeth and starting walking towards the door. Once I opened the door I was greeted by Mike sending me a small smile, I walked towards my room and just as I got to the door Mike said "I'll make sure no one disturbs you for a while." I mumbled a thanks and closed my bedroom door behind me and got into bed.

Ryan's PoV> After we all finished breakfast Mike came in. "I don't want any loud noise or anyone to disturb Katie whilst she is sleeping." He explained. After he said that some of the others either went into the garden or into the lounge. I turned to Mike and said "can I talk to you a second in the office?" He nodded. Once we got in the office, I told him "Katie and I have been getting to know eachother and well.. it seems that she's been missing her brother a lot and I think that's why she feels so sick." Mike then looked at me to continue what I was saying. "I was thinking we should call him and see if we can get him to come see her tomorrow.." "That's very thoughtful of you Ryan, I'll give him a call later and let you know." I nodded. An hour or so later whilst I was sitting in the lounge with Kazima,Billie,Tony,Harry and Finn, Mike walked in. "Ryan can you come here a second?" I walked out the lounge as Mike told me that Chris,Katie's brother will be arriving tomorrow afternoon about 14:30pm." I smiled wide and thanked him. "Mike, can I please go see Katie?" "Yeah, take her a glass of water though. You can also tell her about Chris visiting tomorrow if you like." I nodded and walked off to get her water, then to her room.
Back to Katie's PoV> The time is currently 15:00pm and I've just woken up from a really long nap. I'm feeling much better, but still feel a bit ill. I sat up and went to grab my water, but there was none left. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. "It's Ryan, I've got you a drink." I started getting really nervous. "Come in." He then walked in, just as I was covering up my face to hide how ugly I looked. He placed my water on the side and asked "why are you hiding your face?" "Cause I look awful." He then pulled down the duvet that was covering my face and smiled. "You're so pretty even when you're ill." I blushed and looked towards my water. We just sat for a few minutes in silence until Ryan said "were you feeling sick cause you haven't seen your brother in ages?" I mumbled a quiet "yes." I then all of a sudden starting crying. Ryan then shuffled up closer to me and gave me a side hug. "how would you like to see him soon?" I looked up to Ryan with excitement "omg yes I'd really love to see him soon." "How about soon as in tomorrow?" "WHAT?!" "I told Mike about you missing him,so he called your brother and he's coming tomorrow around 14:30pm." I then hugged Ryan so hard saying "thank you,thank you so much Ryan omg!" It felt so nice to hug Ryan and to be in eachothers company. After I while I realised Ryan was leant against my shoulder. I heard cute little snores coming from his mouth, he's adorable. I lightly shook Ryan and he woke up yawning loudly. I chuckled and said to him and said "I think I heard a door open and close earlier on." He just shrugged and got up. "I'll meet you downstairs in a bit, it's film night tonight." I nodded at him then watched him walk out the room.

I got washed,dressed and proceeded to walk downstairs. When I was walking downstairs I knocked on the office door. Mike looked up surprised to see me, opened the door and just as he was about to speak I ran to hug him. I pulled back after a few seconds and said "thank you for calling Chris, I can't wait to see him tomorrow." "No problem, it was Ryan's idea." I then went out the office and as I was walking into the May-lee called out that it was dinner time. The time is currently 18:15pm and we've just finished eating and washing up. "Okay everyone take your seats in the lounge." Just as I was walking in, Tee showed me a photo of Ryan and I sleeping on eachother earlier in the day. I blushed at us both looking quite sweet close together. "I thought I heard the door open and close, please send me the picture but don't tell Ryan." She nodded just as we got into the lounge. Everybody took their seats and I sat next to Ryan on one of the sofas. Mike put on Peter Pan which happened to be one of my favourite disney films. Ryan shuffled over with a blanket in his hands whispering in my ear "feel free to lean on me." I nodded as he draped the blanket over our legs. About an hour and a half later we were both snuggled up and the film was almost done. The film eventually finished, but neither of us made an effort to get up. May-lee then says "cmon everyone time for bed." So Ryan and I slowly got up, yawning as we did. We then started walking upstairs with everyone else to bed. "I really enjoyed that film. And the person next to me was amazing company." Ryan explained as he winked at me. I smirked and replied "I agree." Just as I got to my door I heard "See you tomorrow and I can't wait to meet your brother." "Omg yay I can't wait for you to meet him either, thanks again for arranging that." "No problem. Night" I waved him goodbye as I walked into my room with Jody, who smiled at my now very pink blushed face. We then proceeded to say goodnight to eachother and go off to sleep.
