Chapter 23- Day trip to the funfair.

This morning I woke up around 8:53am and decided I'd go get ready for the day. Once I was washed and dressed I walked downstairs and into the dining room. I sat there and just played a few games on my phone. Mike then walked through the lounge doors, "oh good morning Katie you're up early." "Morning, yeah I couldn't sleep anymore so I thought I'd come downstairs to wait for everyone to get up." "Fair enough." "Do we have anything planned for today?" I asked him. He soon replied, "yeah there's a funfair going on down near the park so I thought we'd all go down there a bit after lunch, but don't tell the others just yet." I nodded as he walked off into the office. I picked up my phone to see it was 9:06am and I could hear some of the others coming down the stairs. "Morning Katie." I heard Kaz say. "Morning Kaz, how's you?" "Good thanks you?" "I'm good thank you." "Good, shall we go sit in the dining room?" I nodded as we walked into the dining room and sat down. Everyone else then came in and sat down. "Bailey can you pass me the cereal please?" I asked him nicely. "Here ya go." He said as he gave it to me. "Cheers." I replied.

When everybody finished breakfast we were about to get down and go into the lounge, but May-lee started to speak. "Listen up guys." We all looked at her as she continued. "Can all of you bring down your darks washing and leave it in the washing machine room?" We all said yes. I walked upstairs with Jody to get our dark dirty clothes in baskets then started walking back down into the washing room. When I finished just as I sat down in the lounge with Jody I noticed Finn and Harry doing nothing. "Guys why haven't you brought your washing downstairs?" I asked. "Because you, Carmen and Tee lost the game yesterday so you're meant to be doing our chores." Harry replied as him and Finn smiled cheekily. "Ohh yeah." I said as I got up to go upstairs and get there stuff. As soon as I got up the stairs Carmen and Tee bumped into me. "Hey girls, Harrys just reminded me we have to do his and Finns chores." They both nodded and said they'd get theirs if I got Ryan's.

I then walked to Ryan's room and knocked on his door. "Come in." I heard him say from the other side. I walked in to see him laying down on his bed reading a book. "Hey you. Where were you earlier?" "Up here, couldn't be bothered to have breakfast." "Oh okay, well May-lee wants our dark washing so if you give me your dirty clothes in a basket then that'll be great." He nodded as he got up to get it. I sat down on his bed as he put his dirty clothes in the basket. As he was putting some more clothes in he dropped a pair of his boxers. I got off his bed and picked them up. "Omg you must be so small." I laughed. He turned around and saw me holding his boxers. He tried to grab them off me, but I didn't let him take them. "Katie please them back." He said whilst trying not laugh. "Nope." I replied as I smirked. He tried grabbing them again, but this time I ran out of his room and straight down the stairs and into the back garden. Bailey was in the garden playing football with Mo. "If Ryan comes out here don't tell him I'm out here please." They both nodded as I went to hide behind a bush near the gate to the front of the house. Soon enough I heard Ryan's voice. "Hey guys you seen Katie?" They both replied no thankfully. I thought I heard him leave so I started to walk back to the boys, but then saw him coming towards the gate. "Crap." I said a bit too loudly, he then turned around and saw me. "Found you!" "Ahhh no!!" I opened the gate and ran to the front garden. I then tried to open the front door, but it was locked. "Gotcha." He said as I felt him come up behind me. I turned around so I was now face to face with him. I smiled and saw him smile too. "So where are they?" I shrugged my shoulders. I then saw him put his hands into my back pockets of my jeans and then bring them back in front of me with his boxers in hand. "Oh I had no idea they were there." I said jokingly. "Yup I bet you didn't." He then took my hand and we walked back inside. "So where's your washing?" I asked him. "Downstairs in the washing room, I brought it down for you." "Aw thank you."

When we got inside it was lunchtime so we sat next to eachother at the table and started eating. Whilst everyone was eating Mike said he had an announcement to make. "Listen up guys. There's a funfair going on down at the field near the park so we'll all go down their later." "Yay!!" Everyone cheered. When everyone finished their lunch, we all went upstairs to get ready to go to the funfair. We went to mine and Jody's room first to put my phone in my bag and some money then went to Ryan's room. He grabbed his wallet and phone then put them into his pockets. Soon enough everyone was downstairs ready to go so we all started walking to the field, Ryan and I held hands on the way there. When we were walking Tony and Billie came up to me, "hey Katie. Can you come on the merry go round with us?" "Yeah of course. You don't mind if I go with them for a bit do you babe?" I asked Ryan. "No that's fine, I'll see you later." He said smiling at me then I watched him walk to Harry and Finn. Soon enough we got to the funfair, it was so exciting. There were bright lights and loud sounds everywhere. "There it is, let's go Katie!" The twins both squealed as they dragged me to the merry go round. I laughed as we all got on three different horses next to eachother. As soon as it finished we got off and they ran to the other girls whilst I went to Jody who was eating the last of some candy-floss. "Hey Jody, you been on any rides yet?" She shook her head and said "No but I want go on the bumper cars." "Omg same shall we go on them now?" "Yeah let's go." Just as we were walking to them we bumped into Ryan and Tyler. "Alright girls where you going?" Tyler asked. "Bumper cars, wanna come?" Jody replied. They both nodded. As we were queuing I had an idea. "Hey lets do me and Jody in one car against you two in another and see who wins?" "Yeah sounds fun." They both answered. We didn't have to queue for that long cause soon enough we were getting into our cars. "Let's win this Jody." I said as we both high-fived. I sat in the drivers seat, she was the passenger and Ryan was the driver and Tyler was the passenger. Soon it started and we were driving after eachother. We each bumped one other and couldn't stop laughing when we did. Eventually, it finished so we got out and met up with the boys. "Well I think we won that don't you boys?" Jody asked. They looked at eachother then nodded. "Congrats to you both." Tyler replied. "That was fun, but I'm going to go win Katie a teddy so I'll see you both later." Ryan spoke as he took my hand. They smiled as we walked off. "So you're going to win me a teddy are you?" I questioned him. "Yep." He replied as we got to a stall. He paid then man behind the counter and threw three balls at some tin cans. He had to get them all down to win something and of course he did. The man asked which one would I like so I pointed to a small light yellow teddy with a red bow tie that had a pink heart saying I love you on it.

I thanked the man then Ryan and I held hands till we got to a bench so we could sit down. "Thank you for the teddy it's adorable." I told him. He looked at me and smiled. "Your welcome, it's cute just like you." I couldn't help but blush at his comment so I looked down. 

When I looked up again the others came over. "Hey you guys, wanna do anything else or you wanna go home?" Carmen asked. I looked at Ryan and we both said "let's go home. But where's Mike and May-lee?" "May-lee went back early and Mike should be somewhere or he might have gone home." Tee replied. I nodded at her reply as we all started to walking out of the funfair. "Woooo guys look!!" We heard someone scream. We looked towards the helter sketler and saw Mike coming down it. We all laughed as he came rushing down then landing on his bum at the end. He then got up and turned to Tyler. "That video goes nowhere okay?" He said whilst smirking. Tyler nodded and we all laughed. "Ready to go home then gang?" We all replied yep then started walking back home. Ryan and I held hands all the way home and I told him about what would happen if I got good GCSE results. He smiled and thought that it sounded awesome. When we got back it was 16:15pm so we had to wait a while for dinner. We all decided to watch tv whilst waiting so we watched disney channel and cbbc. *big time skip*  Eventually it was around 18:35pm so dinner was ready. Everyone sat round the dining room table and ate. Once we were done everyone went to bed. I said goodnight to Ryan and walked into mine and Jody's room after getting changed into my pajamas. "So happy we won the bumper cars today, it was so much fun." Jody said. "Yeah same haha." "Night Katie." "Night Jody." She then turned the bedside light off and I put my phone on charge then went to sleep.
