"Mikan! Come on, it's just for one day!!"

"Alright..." I step out of the curtains in the classroom and hide my blush under my bangs.

Hikaru has brought my mind back on track. Today is the first day of the Alice Festival and so far... our classes come first before the Ability Classes. Honestly though... I'd rather be in the Special Ability Class right now with my Sempais.

"You look so handsome, Yuzuru-sama!!" I hear one of the girls in my class squeal. I take a glance at him and notice his boring expression. Of course because he has to wear a tux. Ever since I nursed Mitsuru back to health, he's been distant and awkward. I've been trying to talk to him but he's so quiet and asleep at every possible break time between classes. The funny thing is Kaori has done the exact opposite and stuck to me all this time. Before... I had to convince her to hang out with me. Now, Mitsuru and Kaori have switched places. My classroom experience is getting a bit too lonely again.

"What's wrong Miss Sakura?" Kaori says politely. I meet her eyes and fake a smile, "Nothing."

"Has that Hyuuga done something you?" She clenches her notebook closer to her chest.

"Natsume?" I ask, confused, by her assumption. "No... he would never do a thing to me." She flinches and avoids my gaze at the rising of my voice. I cough and try to soften my tone, "Why do you ask that?"

She shifts a little in her place and mumbles, "Oh... forget I ever said anything." She runs towards the door before I can call her back.

I push my skirt down and look towards Mitsuru once again. I raise my brows at him, "What was that about? Do you know why she accused Natsume?" He shakes his head and plugs his ears with his earbuds, "Hey... Mitsu, are you excited for the festival?" I decide to say this nickname to annoy him, to try to get him to talk back to me.

He studies me curiously and decides to answer, "Yeah." At first, I'm surprised because its the first word since the day after he recovered from the cold.

"I finally got a word out of you!" I cheer and I barely hear his next words. But its enough to keep me quiet because he didn't intend for me to hear.

"It's because you called me 'Mitsu'." And I'm left staring into his bright blue eyes that shimmer like the scales on a fish.

They almost seem fake.

"Eh?" I mutter and he grins.

"Hey, Mi-chan. Wanna hang out with me on the last day of the festival?" He changes the subject drastically.
