 I tried to listen closely but someone pushed me and I landed right in front of them.

The boy stepped back and ran from the spot but Joshua remained with an expression one could not describe.

All I knew was that he wasn't happy and that boy was someone I knew...

Mikan

I literally froze in place. He grins now, his expression showing he expected me. I turn my eyes both ways and notice everything has stopped.

"Miss Sakura. How are you doing on this fine day?" He mutters coldly. Somehow I can't find my voice, the air has gone chilly that my throat hurts. I'm frozen in place and I can't move. I'm about to let out tears when he speaks again, "If you're wondering why it is you're not moving it's because I froze time."

I glance at him. I'm still on my stomach. He walks towards me slowly. If only I could move. Why can't I nullify it??

"Hm... Don't you know already? If you don't nullify quick enough, then there's nothing you can do about it. I thought you were brighter than that."

He sighs, then takes a seat in front of me. "The thing is... I can't tell you too much. If so... I'll have to kill you. Plus you're not on my side little girl."

I choke back tears. What's he going to do with me? He has the Time Alice? Who was he talking about earlier? I have so many questions in my head that everything swirls, making me confused.

"You see... I possess many Alices, from this thing here," He pulls his sleeve up and exposes his left arm. "An Alice Brand." Many symbols flash different colors and disappear from my sight. I widen my eyes in fear. "I don't have want to tell you all my Alices but just in case your wondering... they're not really mine."

Alice Brands? How-

"I own a company that makes these Brands. We take the blood of an Alice user and make more of it. Then when we brand the Alice we have full ability of it. Of course for a limited time too. It's not unlimited, you'll have to brand the same Alice if you want to continue using it."

Who is this guy? Why does he... does he... have those things on his arm? Who would make such a thing?

"I have them because I want to. I started this organization years ago. We were hiding in the dark the entire time, watching from afar." He says in a low voice. I get chills down my spine.

"And Oh Miss Sakura... you're not safe to keep secrets from me, I can read your mind and even communicate through it. Doesn't that explain all your dreams? I have merely given you predictions of the future."

I still don't understand a thing, everything is coming at me too fast...

"These things on my arm are stolen Alices'. I am what you know as an 'Alice Hunter'. I steal Alice's for a living."

He smiles a menacing grin and pulls his sleeve down, hiding the Alice Brands. I can feel the circulation through my face and I can't move my lips.

"Why have you come here?" I finally ask as I force a gulp. My throat itches, I'm full of fear of this man that I'm on the verge of tears. It's finally happening again. I'm probably going to lose everything again... I about to panic. Even so, I look him in the eye.
