Chapter 26

~time skip like 5 months because I can~
(Okay by now he is over the heartbreak; mostly, and it's summer (I forgot what time it's supposed to be In the frame but whatever))

-=- Preston's POV -=-

I'm going to the store today, solo because everyone else is busy with something or other, I can't remember!
I'm walking down Fort Worth sun dance plaza, going to five guys, then the store.

I walk into five guys, and accidentally knock into a tall, lightly tanned girl, who appears to be about 17-18. She was gorgeous. She had brown hair that was ombré into blonde.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry," I say.

"Oh it's fine," she laughs, "it happens more than you might think."

"Would you like me to get you anything?" I ask, still not forgiving myself for bumping into her.

"Well.. I was on my way to *inset street address here*
But I got lost." She says.

"I'll drive you to *random street address* it's right next to my house!" I offer.

"Really? Oh you are too kind! Thank you so much..?"
"Preston."
"Paige."

"Nice to meet you, Preston." She says and smiles.

"Nice to meet you too Paige." I respond and smile back.

"Shall we go?" I ask, I can go to the store later.

"Sure!" She responds happily.

We get into my (uh whatever car Preston has, it's a sports car or something; pfft idk I'm into video games not cars.) and I open the door for her.

~after ride~

She gets out, and goes up to the house, and we say our goodbyes. We are exchanged phone numbers, she and I get along really well. We might meet for coffee or such.

I'm turning to go back to my car, then I hear her talk to herself "they must've locked the damn house again. it's not like I live here or anything!" She mumbled, greatly annoyed.

"Would you like to come to my house while you wait for whoever to let you in? Our house is just down the street." I ask.

She hesitates.
"Sure, why not! I mean, you are my neighbor after all." She finally decides.

"I can't believe I've never seen you around." I say.

"Yeah, we just moved in two weeks ago." She responds.

"Oh, okay! That explains it."

We drive over to our house, half of the guys are sleeping, the other half are recording. Maddie is the only one awake/not recording.

~We arrive~

"Alright Paige, we are here! Before we go in, I live with my friends." I look at her worried.

"Oh yo same! I was just nervous to admit it." She replies.
I feel so relieved.

"Alrighty let's go in then!"

I open the door and we walk into the kitchen (you walk in and it's a kitchen, then across the hall it's a living room.)
I drop my five guys onto the counter, and look into the living room. Maddie and Vikk are cuddling on the couch watching the flash. They are so cute it's disgusting.

"P-DOGS HOME!" I hear Maddie scream.

"Maddie, not so loud You are making my ears bleed." Vikk says.

"Sorry." She giggles. "Imma go say hi to preston."

She walks over to me and Paige.
"Oooooooo Who's your friend?" She winks at me.
I roll my eyes.
"Maddie, Paige, Paige Maddie."

She shakes hands with Paige. then they hug. They are gonna be good friends I can tell.
"Well nice to meet you Paige! I'm gonna go back to my boyfriend." Maddie says.

"Have fun you two." She says.

Vikk looks over at the couch and smiles at them.

~Maddies POV~

I whisper to Vikk "omg they are so cute if preston doesn't ask her out, I will hurt him."
I smile. I like threatening people.
