Chapter 23

~A few weeks Earlier~

-=- Mitch's POV -=-

Today was the day that I was going to propose to Jess. I love her with all my heart. She just thinks that we're going on a date. It's much more than that.

-=- Jess' POV -=-

Today Mitch was taking me out on a date. I'm excited. It's our anniversary of meeting today. So he better do good! I laugh to myself quietly.

~Time skip to fright before she gets picked up~

-=- Mitch's POV-=-

The limo was on the way to Jess' house, I was in the limo, and I have a bouquet of roses. 24 to be exact.

I arrive at Jess' house, I have already asked her father permission to marry her. She is the love of my life. I walk up to her front door, and Knock. She opens the door. She's breath takingly beautiful. Wow.
I walk up to her, and hold her arm, and lead her towards the limo. I open the door for her, and she slides in.

"So where are we going Mitchell?"

"I cannot tell you. It is a surprise." I replied.

~Time skip to arrival~

We arrive at the place, it is a very fancy and expensive French restaurant. She looks at me with shock.

"Oh my! Thank you!" She thanks me.

"Don't thank me yet.. you deserve it"

We walk in, and the waiter leads us up to the special booth. It's away from everyone else, and it's dressed up with fairy lights, and curtains.
"Oh my god, Mitch! This is beautiful!"
"Only the best!"

~The main course is served~

A violinist comes to the table. That's my cue. I get up and look over at Jess, she looks confused. Okay. I got this.

"Jessica, you are the love of my life, ever since I met you, you have made my life better, thank you. You make me light up, I love you Jess. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Jessica (l/n) Will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?"

"Yes!! Yes I will marry you!" She says.

Then I kiss her, And hold her close.

Today was mine and Laura's anniversary. I was going to make sure this was amazing.

~Picking up Laura~

I was driving to Laura's house, In a rented jeep, she can be girly and tom boyish at the same time. So it's a black jeep, with pink rims. Let's go!

~we arrive~

I walk up to her door, and she comes outside, looking very fine. She is wearing jeans, a nice top, and boots. I open the jeep door for her, and she gets in.

"So where are we going?"

"It's a surprise.." I say.

~after we arrive home~

"We are going to your place?"

"Hmm. That's odd." I say.

What she doesn't know is I have the entire house to us.

We walk inside, and she notices that no-one else is here.
I walk into the kitchen, and I show her the food. I have chick-fil-a, in-n-out, and various junk food and candy.

"Lachlan! This is amazing!" She says.

"I'm glad you like it, anything for you"

~they basically just pig out, and watch movies and cuddle :)~
