4: The note
{Ladybug}
I stared at the note. My face red. Tikki stared at me.
Adrian. Chat Noir. My crush. My partner...
I buried my head in my hands and sighed.
I heard two taps on glass and turned to see Chat standing on the other side of the glass. I have to tell him eventually....
I opened the window. "Hi,"
"How you feline?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes at the pun. And then realised only Ladybug rolls her eyes at Chat's puns.
Crap!
I turned and sat on my desk chair. "Okay, my only problem in the world is homework. Especially physics homework."
"Well, luckily you have a smart cat here that can help you,"
"Not now, you have patrol,"
"After Pawtrol I'll help you,"
"Sure thing, Adrian,"
Chat grinned and left.
"Tikki, spots on."
I leaped up onto the roof and raced along the buildings. Thankfully it wasn't freezing like last night so the roofs weren't slippery and my fingers weren't stiff from the cold.
I swung across Paris using my yo-yo, looking for Chat.
Kitty. Where are you?
I swung around Paris and finally found him sitting on top of the Agreste mansion. I landed on the roof softly and sat next to him.
"Hi kitty,"
"M'lady,"
"Look about the akuma attack this after noon, I had somewhere to be, I wasn't avoiding you because of what happened last night,"
"I know,"
"Then why are you upset?"
"Because I don't know what to do, bugaboo someone found out my true identity..."
"Kitty, don't worry about that, I'm sure as long as it was someone you can trust all will be fine," I said, placing my head on his shoulder.
"Are you sure?"
"Who was it?" I said, keeping up the facade.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng,"
"She's a good person, she'll keep your secret safe."
"That's not the problem, it's that she knows and you don't,"
"Look, kitty, I'll make a promise, on Christmas Day at twelve am we'll show our identities to each other,"
"You mean it?" His eyes lit up and he looked at my head on his shoulder.
"Yup," I popped the 'p'.
"Thank you m'lady,"
"It's okay kitty, I don't want to keep it a secret any longer, it might save our lives at one point,"
Chat lifted my head up with two fingers and brought his lips down to mine. Chat kissed me, and I kissed back.
It's Adrian, so it should be alright.
He pulled away. "I'm sorry, I just-mph,"
He was cut off by me kissing him. I pulled back just so I could whisper. "Kitty, don't be,"

Ladybug kissed me again and I pulled her closer.
Ladybug is kissing me. Does that mean she likes me as well? Yes it does stupid. Ladybug isn't the type of person to kiss someone without meaning it.
I pulled away for air. I felt heat in my cheeks and saw Ladybug blushing as well. She was breathing heavily.
"What does this mean?" I asked.
Ladybug facepalms herself. "It means I like you in that way Chat,"
"But...didn't you have a crush on someone?"
"And I got over it, Chat,"
M'lady loves me...
"I have something I need to show you," I said grabbing hold of Ladybug's wrist. I extend my baton and lift the two of us high in the sky. I stopped once all of Paris was spread out in front of us. I pulled Ladybug up on my lap. "Where to?"
Ladybug pointed to the Eiffel Tower. "There and why?"
"Hold on." Chat tipped his baton that way, and it fell towards the Eiffel Tower. Once we started going down Ladybug wrapped her arms around my neck.
I knew she would choose the Eiffel Tower.
When we were 50 meters above the ground. I flicked my baton up with my foot and whispered into Ladybug's ear.
"Use your yo-yo."
She nodded and as we fell she aimed her yo-yo, we were a few metres from the ground when we began going up.
We quickly reached the Eiffel Tower and we went up to the highest platform. Since it was nearly one o'clock in the morning nobody was up her aside from the two of us.
