"Say, Miraculous Ladybug, please say it," Adrian said holding me close.
"It'll fix everything right? Right?"'He shook as he cried on my shoulder.
"A-Why? What happened?"
"The akuma..it was in my ring I broke it to free myself but-but Plagg!" He shook.
"I-I-I don't think it'll work..."
"Try, please, I can't loose Plagg, I might hate the fact that I have to carry cheese that makes me smell like stinky shoes but he is one of my closest friends and I can't loose him!"
"Okay." I took a deep breath in and yelled, "Miraculous Ladybug,"
The only sound I could hear over the pain of movement were Adrian's soft crying and my shout echoing in the empty catacombs.
"It didn't work...Mari what do we do?" He asked hugging me tightly.
"I-I don't know but let me go and I'll ask Tikki."
"Spots off," After I said the phrase I felt like I had been up for 24 hours. Tikki zoomed out of my earrings and looked at broken Adrian and beat up me and asked "What happened?"
"Chat Blanc," I said and collapsed.
I can't go out now! Adrian needs me! But I'm so tired...I'll just close my eyes for a second...

I looked at Marinette on the ground, beat up and bloody because of me.
I did this to her...Plagg is gone because of me...Tikki lost her closest friend because of me...Why am I so useless?...
I stood up and picked Marinette up.
I did this...Plagg...Tikki...Marinette...and so many others...I hurt them...they got hurt because of me...No, I can't think like that, my akuma is still out their. I can't activate it, not now. Let Mari rest and heal for the fight.

I fell asleep on Marinette's chaise again. I didn't care that Natalie and Gorilla would be worried about me. I didn't care that poor citizens had been akumatised. All I cared about at the moment was Plagg and Marinette. But Plagg was missing, possibly gone forever.
