21: To ruin ruins

I stared at the ceiling.
I'm sorry Adrian.
I got up and walked up to the rooftop garden. It was midnight and all of Paris was asleep. My heart twisted when I remembered that it was about this time when the illusion of secrets was shattered.
If I hadn't made that deal...
"Might I ask what you're doing at this time of night?"
I jumped around to see Chat Blanc sitting on the railing to my left.
What set it off?
"Thinking."
"About what? How to tear up Adrian's heart next? How to crush the only shard of hope he has. To ruin the ruins of his life. Or do you do it just for fun?"

I chuckled. "Silly kitty,"
"Silly wasn't he? To trust that you wouldn't disappoint him. To trust his heart. To trust you."
Silly to trust me. I disappointed him. He trusted his heart and look he ended up.
"He trusted you. He loved you. He thought you where purrfect. Flawless. Your no better than Chloé. Wait scratch that Chloé is better than you. At least she grew up spoilt, you didn't."
He trusted me. He loved me. Perfect. Purrfect. Flawless. No better than Chloé. Worse than Chloé. Purrfect.
"Purrfect..." My eyes widened.
He might still be in there. But then that means that to some extent that was true...he really thinks those things.
Tears brimmed my eyes. I turned to Chat Blanc. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! I was doing this for you! You and Plagg! Why would you think I would do it on purpose!"
Green.
"M-Mari..." Chat stared at me then growled.
"Tikki! Spots on!" While the bright flash blinded Chat, I climbed over the railing.
Chat walked over to me and ended up so close that our breaths mingled.
21: Cataclysm

Our breaths mingled.
Chat Blanc whispered something that Marinette couldn't hear.
Cataclysm.
He smiled and placed his ring hand on the railing.
"Au revour!" He grinned.
Marinette wobbled and quickly grabbed hold of his face and kissed him. That's when I gained control.

"Mari!" I yelled as she fell.

As she fell I lost control.
