Chapter Two - Pinkie Pie

- Pinkie Pie POV -

"Pinkieee! Oh Pinkie Pie! Could you come here a minute?" 

"Okie-dokie-lokie!" I giggled, bouncing down the stairs. Mr and Mrs Cake were waiting for me in the kitchen of Sugarcube Corner.

"Good morning Pinkie. I have something I need to speak to you about." 

I squealed excitedly. "Is it about cake? I love cake! And sweets! And PIIIEEEE!"

"Pinkie!" I stopped mid-shout, squeezing my lips together. "I need you to make room on the spare bed in your room. We have a guest-"

"SQUEE! A new pony for me to play with? Yippee! What's she like? Or is she a stallion? I'm so excit-"

"Pinkie!" I slapped my lips shut again. "His name is Chocolate Pudding. He's my nephew, and he'll be staying here for a while to...rehabilitate."

What did that mean? I'd never heard such a silly word in my life, so I tried to stop myself from giggling. "Rehabili-what?"

"He's been getting into a little trouble in Manehattan, and his parents wanted him to get away from it. He's arriving this afternoon-"

"Oh my Celestia! I need to prepare a welcoming party-"

"No, no, no...no need." Mrs Cake shook her head. "He isn't...well, he doesn't really..."

"He doesn't like parties?" She shrugged. "Well nopony can not like Pinkie Pie's parties!" I rushed off, heading to Sweet Apple Acres. I had to throw a party because everypony deserves a Pinkie Pie welcome when they come to Ponyville! When I arrived, I dashed around, trying to find Applejack.

"Howdy Pinkie!" I heard from behind me. I turned to see Applejack approaching me. "What can I do ya for?"

"AJ! There's a super-duper new pony coming to Ponyville and I need to throw him an extra-special-Pinkie-Pie-welcoming-party!" I breathed out heavily. "Can I use the barn?"

Applejack shrugged. "Sure, I guess..."

"Yippie!"

"When's this new guy arrivin'?" She put down her basket of apples and wiped the sweat from her brow. 

"Tonight! Isn't it just the most exciting thing ever?"

Applejack shrugged. "Well, as long as y'all can get her dun by tonight, then it'll be fine for you to use the barn." She picked up her basket of apples and headed towards the barn. "I look forward to yet another one of yer great parties. See y'all later."

I waved my hoof. "Byyeeee AJ!" I bounced off, back to Sugarcube Corner to get my party cannon. When I'd decorated the barn, I got to giving out invitations.

"Hello! I hope you'll come to welcome Chocolate Pudding to Ponyville at Sweet Apple Acres later! Come to the party! It'll be super fun! Come along and welcome our new friend!" Rainbow Dash soared above me. "Dashie! Hey Dashie, come here!" She swooped down to me, folding her wings.

"Hey Pinkie. What you got there?" She nodded at my invitations. 

I grinned. "ApartyforabrandnewponyinPonyville! He's arriving tonight so I'm throwing him a party at Sweet Apple Acres!"

"A new pony? Sweet! I hope he's a pegasus, I bet can beat him in a race!" She dashed off.

"Okie-dokie-lokie Dashie! See you later!" I was so excited! All of my friends will get to meet my brand new best friend Chocolate Pudding and we can all have fun together! Yippee!
