- Applejack POV -

"Make yerself comfortable, Braeburn." I said, lounging back onto one of the foldout sunbeds we'd laid out - it was a beautiful day, and we had a few good hours before Pinkie's party.

"Thanks cus!" He called back, flopping onto the sunbed next to Rainbow. We were laying in a row - Braeburn and I on each end, and Rainbow in between us. The sun beating down was just what she'd needed to relax after the drinks fiasco at the party the night before.

"I could really do with some sunglasses..." Rainbow groaned, throwing one hoof over her eyes.

"Sunglasses? Have mine!" An excited voice yelped from behind us. I turned to see Scootaloo, and a little behind her, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. Scootaloo was holding out a pair of sunglasses.

"Geez, thanks kid." Rainbow said, taking the glasses and putting them on. "Ah, much better."

"No problem Rainbow Dash!"

"C'mon Scootaloo!" My sister said irritatedly, running over to the pile of haybales. "We've gotta try for our hay-climbin' cutie mark!"

"Fine..." Scootaloo grumbled, running over. I sat up abruptly, feeling a wave of anxiety as they clambered to the top of the stacked hay-bales.

"Y'all be careful!" I shouted nervously.

Applebloom scoffed. "Ah'll be fine, sis!" I knew what was coming even before the edge of the hay bale fell apart, and Applebloom teetered precariously on the ledge. I jumped up and ran over, but arrived too late. She toppled over the edge and landed a few feet away from me, whining.

"Owww! It hurts, it hurts, it huuuurts!"

I rushed over to her, feeling her legs. From what I could tell, nothing was broken, but what did I know? She needed to see a doctor.

"Rainbow! Braeburn! Come over here!"
