"We fight, not just for ourselves but the entire shifter world for generations to come. For to long the hunters have walked all over us, thinking we were weak and would let them but now we must show them we are strong and we will not tolerate the slaughter of our people any longer!" I bellowed out.

They shifters cheered, I looked out over my people, the avians and the reptiles who had showed up yesterday. I knew many were going to die, I noticed for the first time everyone was smiling. I stepped down Leon held out his arms I shook my head, "I need to be alone." I whispered. I kept walking outside to the hill my parents were buried on, I sat down between their graves, "Mom, Dad am I doing the right thing? I'm leading these people to their deaths, I know most of them won't make it to the end of the month, most aren't even eighteen I don't know what to do, I need you so much I don't know what to do." I whispered tears rolling down my cheeks, I ran my fingers through the grass above my mothers grave. I sighed I felt a breeze tug at my hair. I pulled the rubber band off my wrist and pulled my hair into a loose ponytail. I stood back up and and over looked the valley below the hill, there was the field of wild flowers, the haven, and in the distance my castle, I knew it was teeming with hunters, I snarled at the thought of them in there. I gasped coming up with an idea I sprinted back down the hill the the haven, "LILLY!!" I yelled. Scanning the crowd for her I noticed she wasn't there, damn it Lilly where are you? I thought.

Leon walked up to me, "Cas and Lilly disappeared."

I growled in frustration, "Why now?!" I exclaimed. "Why now what?" Leon asked.

"Oh never mind, Leon come with me I have an idea." I snapped turning heel. I shed my jeans and pink tank top quickly, I shifted into my rusty-spotted cat and looked at Leon expectantly, "Well come on shift we don't have much time." I snapped when he didn't shift. He huffed and shed his wranglers and button down. He shifted into his rusty-spotted cat as well.

"So what exactly are we doing?" He asked as we trotted towards a cave.

"We are going to spy." I said simply when we walked into the cave.

"Wait how are we going to do that in a cave?" He asked trotting up beside me.

"Because this is the secret entrance to a place Lilly and I found when we were cubs." I snapped I slipped through a hole. He slipped in after me, we wound around twists and turns, we finally reached a wide room that had two beds, a dresser, and food was stacked neatly on a shelf on the far left wall. I remembered all the hours Lilly and I spent stocking this place.

"Come on we found a small tunneling system that runs through each room in the place, I walked along the edge of the of the room trying to find the small little hole.

"Ah ha! I found it!" I exclaimed. "Come on."

We slipped into the hole and walked along the thin edge. I walked until I heard a voice. I stopped and looked out the small hole I notice about six hunters in my fathers study, I bit back a snarl and listened in.

"He wanted to get the albino tiger." The one with a jagged scar said.

"Why would he want that one, I'd rather have the leader." Another said

"Because, you idiot, he'd have leverage." The first snapped.

"Oh, but what does he want us to do? We don't even know where they are." The other asked.

"We'll bait them out he wants it done and soon." The first said.

"How in gods name are we going to accomplish that?" The second asked again.

"That's where I come in." A new voice said. I looked over and bit back a gasp, it was Justin's father.

Dun dun dun! Haha sorry I left it at a cliff hanger I just wanted to mix it up. Since no one guessed no one gets acknowledged. I'm a little disappointed. I always have people telling me I'm a great author and crap like that but no one gives me feed back I don't know if I wanna keep writing if I keep having stuff like this happen
