Niall...
"Liam, where did you leave the football?" I shouted across the house, with an anxious Harry next to me.
"I left it by the pool!" He shouted back.
Without a response, I anxiously headed out towards the backyard. As soon as I spotted the black and white ball sitting in the grass, I picked it up and started kicking it around.
"Nialler, relax. You look like you're about to kick that thing to China."
"Sorry, I can't help it." I sighed as I kicked it towards him.
Since Disneyland a week ago, we'd all managed to make excuses and plans to stay home and do things. It was working until yesterday when Annabelle wanted to go out and do something aside from be home all day. No one liked the idea as soon as she said it, but luckily she missed the looks we all shared. To avoid suspicion, Melanie quickly suggested a girls day out in Hollywood. I did not like the idea.
At all.
The minute she said it, I wanted to argue. If it wasn't for Louis elbowing me and quickly agreeing with the 'good idea', I would've.
"Niall, she'll be fine. Both the girls are with her. Nothing will happen."
"We should've all gone. I'd feel better if all of us lads were there, if I was there."
"Nick is stupid, but he's not stupid enough to do anything in public." Harry reasoned.
"It's not Nick and his stupidity I'm worried about. It's Nick, Connor, Logan and her father all together that I'm worried about."
"We don't even know for sure if they're all here. It could just be Nick."
"Harry." I gave him an annoyed look. "They're all involved in this. Of course they're all here."
"Okay, so maybe you're right. But still, the girls went to the most populated, tourist area in Los Angeles today. Those morons would be stupid to approach the girls and try anything. So relax, and let's play footie." He argued.
"Yes, please. Anything to distract my mind." I said, even though I didn't think anything could distract me from this nagging bad feeling in my gut.
"Zayn got us all tickets to see that new Jungle Book movie." He told me, obviously trying to distract my worried mind.
"Cool, Annabelle will like that. She's been wanting to see it."
"He got us into an afternoon showing, so we can be home before dark."
"Good."
"Niall, seriously. Stop zoning out and thinking negative." Harry groaned as the ball whizzed past me. I hadn't even made an effort to kick it.
"I can't help it. Sorry." Even though I wasn't sorry at all.
He started walking closer and saying something, but was interrupted by the back door opening.
