Tim Drake opened one eye, still dark outside it looked like. It read 4:30 on the clock and Tim wanted to try something. He was always one to wake up a little late, and he wanted to see what is was like waking up early and going to the Batcave.
Tim quickly pulled on a comfortable pair of jeans, and a red(no duh, what other color would it be?) shirt. He didn't bother to brush his hair, it was still morning after all. Tim hopped down the stairs to the first floor, where he crept around the kitchen, trying to avoid anybody who might be getting a morning snack. But it looked like nobody was in there, so he was good.
He knew all the members of his little family, Bruce, Dick, Jason, Damian, and even Alfred had good hearing. Even the members of the family that didn't live with the boys had exceptional hearing, Bette, Barbara, Carrie, Stephanie, and Cassandra. Boy there were so many people in his family. So so many...
While fixing himself a sandwich, quietly of course, remember that his family has good hearing, he listed his family in his head. And it sort of went like this:
Alfred Pennyworth, his almost-grandfather, and the worthy keeper of the Batcave
Bruce Wayne, his adoptive father, the Batman
Kathy Kane, a family friend, the first Batwoman and current Headmistress
Kate Kane, another family friend, the second Batwoman
Bette Kane, one of Dick's many love interests, the first Batgirl and current Flamebird
Barbara Gordon, another of Dick's love interests and is like an amazing older sister, second Batgirl and current Oracle
Helena Bertinelli, she's a little crazy in the head, third Batgirl and current Huntress
Dick Grayson, his cool leader older brother, the first Robin, second Batman, also current Nightwing
Cassandra Cain, his older sister who is kinda silent, fourth Batgirl and current Blackbat
Jason Todd, his violent yet super sensitive other older brother, the second Robin and current Red Hood
Charlotte Gage-Radcliff, he guessed she is kind of his sister just a little different, fifth Batgirl and current Misfit
Carrie Kelley, sister like girl who is super sassy at him, third Robin and current Catgirl
Tim Drake, in his opinion the coolest Robin ever, fourth Robin and current Red Robin
Stephanie Brown, my girlfriend, fifth Robin, sixth Batgirl and current Spoiler
Damian Wayne, my super duper violent little brother, current Robin(the sixth one)
Tim thought about all them for a second and counted more then that. Talia and Ra's. Selina.
But were they his family? Really, were they?
Yes they were.
No matter what.
They would always be his family.
