A/N:  One of my next few one shots will be a attempt at humor!

If there was one thing Dick Grayson loved to do more than watch a villains face when their butt got kicked, was walk in the East Wing, by Cass and Alfred's rooms(look at my Map chapter to see where it is actually located).  Sure the hall was on the opposite side of his and Jason's rooms, but he didn't mind just waking up at night to look at it.

Sure, look at a wall, what's so special about that?  A lot.  That wall was filled with memories, and Tim even joked that it should be called Memory Lane.  Well memories and pictures.  Tons of photographs filled the wall with color, sadness, happiness, and a general feeling of belonging.

And tonight, this just felt like the perfect night for a stroll down the ML.  After leaving his bed he listened to see if he could hear Jason's loud snores.  Yep, loud as a door slamming.  And the sound of the door slamming madly.

Dick shrugged it off and walked to the ML.  Walking in, he went to the left and stared at the first pictures.  It was interesting to see.  The dates hung above at the top of the ceilings, one time period to another year something- year something.  Pictures were below them in an orderly fashion, straight lines, Alfred had them dusted and everything.

As Dick walked, memories came flooding back...

Watch out Robin!

Don't worry  Batman, I got this!

--

Hey Alfred!

Hello Master Richard, I assume your day is pleasant so far?

Of course!  Oh and please call me Dick.

---

Jason Todd?  What do you mean he's the new Robin?

Not because I don't love you or anything...

Yeah sure...  you loved me enough to replace me.

Well.... I'm just not going to say anything.

--

You're Jason right?

Get away from me a--hole.

Um... no.

--

Jason's dead.

He is?!  Yes... I mean, what?  That's awful.

--

Hey, Bruce I just realized something...

What is it?

I did love Jason.

--

Tim Drake is our newest Robin.

I swear, how do you find these kids Bruce?

Listen Dick... I'm sorry...

Speak up, couldn't hear you over the giant wave of sadness coming off of you.

Oh my gosh...

----

Well you're more agreeable than Jason...

So you'll teach me?

Why me?

You're cool?

You're afraid of Bruce aren't cha?

Okay you caught me Dick...

--

Yeah, well I'm the blood son so back off Grayson..

Um... you must be Damian...

Yeah...

I swear, where does Bruce find you people?  How many girls has he dated really?

Um... well...

--

Dick smiled at the usual rush of memories that overflowed him and rushed into his heart, making it swell with happiness.

If there was anything that was great, it was the ML.

Because memories are something you can't let go of, you need to keep, because those are the one thing that will keep your past and your future close to heart.
