A/N: Former Robins and a plane do not mix well.
I don't know anything about planes so this will not really be very factual... this is their luxury plane up there :D Another thing, the water bottle flipping in this story owes to the fact that my friend, I guess, we call each other enemies, but we're pretty much friends... anyway, all water bottle flipping, I'm sorry, it's his fault!! Also, do you think my characters are OOC? If so, tell me who is and help me fix it! :) Also, two new stories about Dick Grayson and the Batfamily coming out soon... maybe tomorrow or something :D
Up in a plane four brothers were seated in the air. Of course, this wasn't an ordinary flight, as the four were the only people on the plane, and it was a Wayne supporting luxury flight. One of the brothers was piloting, and the other was co-piloting, taking their two hour flight shift seriously. The two were close, one who would forever be angry and sad, and the other forever would be studious and calm. They complimented each other perfectly and worked well together, their bond of trust already established. The other two however, were if possible, even closer. Both had been partners in crime, and trusted each other with their lives, even going as far to die for each other(this has been tested before). Of course they never admitted the could even stand each other, but were good brothers to each other nevertheless. Together the four boys were a team, powerful and no one could ever stand in their way.
But, when it came to planes... the story with these four was so incredibly different.
"Get away from me Grayson!" Damian growled, his hand on a water bottle, ready to splash his brother in the face. He was sitting comfortably on the couch, reading a book called On Killing: The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society by David Grossman. It was of course his choice of pleasure read, for he had not so politely turned down Dick's offer to read The Chronicles of Narnia, which he deemed unimportant and bad for society.
"I just want to do a water bottle flip!" Dick begged, stumbling as the plane shook, and he dropped the book he was reading. Moby Dick , by Herman Melville, of course. He watched as it slid down the plane, and he walked over to retrieve it, and put it in a small black bag with the tag 'important' on it.
"What's a water bottle flip?" Damian asked, his interest piqued as he looked up to his older brother, who was now cleaning off all the trash from the couches and tossing it into the trash bags like he was basketball player, "Grayson, will you stop acting like a child and answer my question? I can't believe we trust you 18 year old's to decide who is going to be the leader of our country!"
"No trust!" Dick replied mockingly, letting his brother's insult merely slide off him as he did with all the other insults thrown at him, "A water bottle flip is when you try to flip a half filled water bottle in the air and land it right side up. Here, give me that. Thanks, and don't glare at me. It's unbecoming in your social life. Only practice when your on patrol. Don't give me that face Dami. I can glare better than you. Whatever, here.... see that's how you do it!"
Damian glared, but secretly he was interested, "Do it again."
Like the first time, Dick smirked at his younger brother, then grabbed the bottle by the cap and flipped it up, landing it with a flourish of his hand, "And voila!"
Damian scoffed, leaning back into his chair and opening his book up again, "That's easy Grayson, anybody can do it!"
Dick smirked, knowing that water bottle flipping had to do a lot with the hand motion, the amount of water in the bottle, the surface, how much pressure you put while flipping the bottle, and the luck, "Wanna try it Dami?"
