Family Get Together

"Do any of you have the feeling that this will be very awkward?" Tim asked, brushing some hair out of his eyes.

"Yeah..." Dick said, picking a piece of lint off his blue shirt.

"Well, no, duh!" Jason laughed harshly and hit Damian in the head.

Damian glared,"How's it going to be awkward?"

"The whole Bat family is getting together and you say it's not going to be awkward?" Dick chuckled nervously,"I'll have Bette and Babs flirting with me!"

"That's what you're worried about?" Tim asked,"You've got the first two Batgirls on you and you're worried about that?"

"Yeah!" Dick smiled at Tim's face,"What, jealous you only have the fourth and the sixth Batgirls?"

"Cassandra is not my girlfriend!  She's like a sister!" Time argued back,"Steph on the other hand is um.. anyway, doesn't Jason have the third and fifth?"

"Me, with Helena B. and Charlotte?  No no no!  They want to kill me for sure, you know remember last time?" Jason seemed disgusted.

"That would be bad, what about Kelley though?  She's gonna sass me for sure.." Damian mused.

"And Charlotte? I mean Jason already said something about her, but back on her.  Isn't she a little..?" Dick asked,"She's just a little scary you know?  I think the superhero name Misfit suits her!"

"Cause that's what she is!" Tim cried, and started laughing.

"Uh huh, and I hope Alfred won't spill his tea all over Helena W!"  Jason laughed.

"Like last time!  Let's hope Selina doesn't come!" Dick fretted.

"Ugh, she annoys me!" Damian expressed.

"She annoys everybody except Bruce and Helena W!" Tim said.

"Say no more!" Jason said smirking,"I just hope Kathy won't try and beat up Kate!"

"Those two are kinda off!" Damian said.

"Hehe.  I agree little brother." Dick said.

"Kinda rude to say, but yeah!" Tim said.

The four boys walked nervously downstairs, to be greeted by their family.

Kathy Kane was drinking some punch and talking to Cassandra Cain, and also bumping Kate Kane out of her way.  Bette Kane was trying to get Cass to talk, but with no success

Barbara Gordon giggled at something Stephanie Brown was saying while she ate a sandwich.  Carrie Kelley and Charlotte Gage- Radcliff seemed deep in conversation.  Helena Bertinelli sat on a chair, talking to Alfred Pennyworth.

Bruce Wayne was trying to keep Selena Kyle and Talia Al Ghul from killing each other.  And Helena Wayne sat awkwardly in the corner.

Awkward bunch indeed.  And all of them were girls!

Suddenly something rang.  A sound that was identified as the Batwave.

"What's that?" Selena asked.

"Batwave." Tim responded.

"Calls when we're needed." Jason added.

"And we're needed now." Damian said.

"Bat family," Dick began, ripping his shirt to reveal his Nightwing costume underneath,"Let's do this!"

One by one, each member of the family ripped their shirts, to reveal their identity.

And they ran out. 

One big family.

Bat family.
