Camping

Jason nodded his head at Bruce, his face filled with disgust and fear at the same time, "I still think this is a super bad idea!"

Bruce yawned, tired from the day, "Please Jay, both Alfred and I need a break super-"

"Superman!"  Dick yelled, excitedly as he rushed into the room.  His face resembled that of a five year old that badly wanted to see Superman.

"Dick.. Jay and I are having a-"  but yet again Bruce was cut off.

"Is Clark coming?  I haven't seen him in ages!"  Dick said, dancing around his adoptive father's study.

Bruce leaned back into his comfy chair with an exasperated sigh,"Dick you just saw Clark yesterday!  Plus we aren't talking about him.  We're talking about you boys going on a camping trip!  A really nice camping trip.. far far away from me.. yep.. that'll be nice."

"Oh.." Dick's face returned to it's usual serious expression, and he sat into a chair,"So have you made plans yet?  Where are we going?  Do I need to prepare food?"

Bruce and Jason looked at Dick in surprise.  He had went from a five year old to a thirty-two year old.  A five year old kid that loved Superman to a thirty-two year old that wanted to plan everything.

"Dude, how do you do it?"  Jason asked, scooting aside on the couch to make room for Tim, who had just entered the room.

"Do what?"  Tim asked.

"Nevermind..is everything planned already?"  Dick asked, seriously.

"About."  Bruce said,"I already told Jay where you boys are to go.  The rest is up to you."

"Bye boys!"  Bruce said as he parked the car.

Damian squeezed out of the van,"Todd, remind me again why we are going on this stupid camping trip."

Jason popped out of the shotgun seat,"Cause Alfred and Bruce need a break from us."

"What a stupid reason.  Why couldn't of they taken a vacation?  Why did we have to?"  Tim asked, as he literally fell out of the car,"Oop."

"We are missing school."  Damian pointed out, as he pulled his backpack out of the car.

"Yeah..." Dick sadly sad, as he lugged out the tents.

The boys paused for a second to unload the luggage out of the Batmobile.  Then they waved Bruce goodbye('BYE BRUCE!  TELL ALFRED I LOVE HIM,  BABS ALSO!  I HAVE SOMETHING FOR HER ON MY DESK!  OH AND MY WILL IS IN MY DESK ON THE RIGHT... SORRY IF YOU CAN'T FIND MY BODY... IT'LL BE YOUR FAULT ABOUT THAT BRUCE!'  'Don't die while we're gone..  if you do... I would be sure that you go find the lazarus pits.. they're pretty good for that stuff!  Oh and don't let Kate borrow my guns.. last time she took them they broke!'   'Tell Alfred to feed my cat!  And if he doesn't I will...*slits throat*  Okay?  Okay!  Bye!'  'If Steph comes tell her our date is off.. I'm so glad I scheduled it today, I am so getting out of it!') as he sped down the jungle.

"Why is that a bad thing?  Thought missing school was good.."  Jason said as he popped his bubble gum.

"Well I'm missing out on a bunch of material.  Miss even five minutes and you miss like five lectures!"  Dick argued back as he stumbled.

"Yeah, that's the truth about college isn't it?" Tim asked as he looked around the forest,"You know I don't understand why we couldn't of gone to some normal forest?  Instead he drops us off at the middle of the Amazon, and then we have to find our way through it to get out!"

"Remember the Grand Canyon?" Jason asked as he started to walk.

"That was ridiculous.  Don't even mention it!"  Damian said with disgust as he followed.
