Chapter 17.

I don't know what will happen next. I don't know wether he is my REAL dad or not. I mean his attitude. He was literally different last night. There's a lot of things in my mind.

This morning as I woke up, dad was already gone to work. I found my mom in the kitchen, making something for breakfast I guess.

" good morning mom, "

" morning honey. " woah she seems happy.

" okay?? So whats up? "

" Dad apologised for what happen last night. Someone stole the company's money, so he was so stressed out "

Alhamdulilllah. Thank you ya Allah.

"Really?! Wow so good to hear that"

"Now go upstairs and take a bath. I won't let you eat if you still with your pyjamas"

" but moomm im hungry "

" No but's "

I sighed and make my way to upstairs. Thank God it still holiday but school starts in 4 DAYS. Im gonna cryyyyy.

* 30 minutes later *

Actually 30 minutes is not so enough for me to prepare myself but seems im quite lazy to dry my hair so it will not take that long as usual. Wait. I hear some noises downstairs. Please dont tell me that someone's here. Duhh. I tip-toe downstairs to see who is it.

OH MY GOD ITS JASON.

MY SCARF.

I quickly run upstairs and dry my hair and wear my scarf. Thank God noone notice my presence just now, the question is,

WHAT ARE JASON DOING HERE

I go downstairs and smell something DELICIOUS.
ITS BRIYANI RICE. Its been 5 years im not eating it. Actually its kinda weird my mom cooks briyani rice all of a sudden. And why Jason is here? I know they're pretty close but ya know its quite weird.

" OH MY GOD BRIYANIIII"

" pffftt Sara " mom said and look at Jason. Oooppsss my bad.

" oh ya Hye Jason " I wave like a little kid.

" oh ya sorry for not telling that Im coming. Your mom asked me to join both of you eating briyani, so im coming. Besides, I will learn how to cook it and help your mom to prepare the meal "

Wow, just wow. Its so hard to find a guy like this. I mean a guy that interested in cooking. Nevermind, maybe he bored staying at home alone. With his maid. Lol.

" Good try Jason. Anywaysss, what should I help you guys "

" Just cut the onion and ......... "

Three of us cook together. We share many things to mom. We tell her about what happen in Malaysia.

This meal takes 4 hours to prepare. Quite exhausted but we satisfied with what we cook today.

" Finally! We're done. Can we eat now? "

" Sara. Be calm. We have to prepare it for dinner. "

" ooooo so mom cook this for dad? "

She nodded and smile.

" awwhhh how sweet " me and Jason said simultaneously.

" Alright kids, now go take a bath and be ready for dinner! Jason, your maid sent your clothes just now, its at the living room. "

My mom no need to tell him where to take a bath because yea, like I said, he always come here to learn cooking. Today he learned a new recipe which is BRIYANI RICE.
