Unpredictable Meet

Chapter 26.

Sara's POV

Seriously Sara ? Who ask you to sleep late last night. Mumble to myself is my new habit now and I don't know why. Argh I just have 5 minutes to go to the backstage before this event started. I walk fastly and BAM! Ergh I bump into someone and it is a guy!

" Are you okay? " he asks.

I look up because he's tall and say " Ya I'm okay "

Wait wait and wait. My heart pounds so fast

" SARA ALANA "

" JASON HAROLD "

We say simultaneously. Okay relax.

" What are you doing here? "

It supposed to be me asking him that question duhh.

" I'm graduating today and what are you doing here? "

" I don't ---- "

Someone tap on my shoulder and whisper to me to be at the backstage as soon as possible.

" I'm sorry Jason but I have to go now. See ya! "

He looks so damn hot! How can I'm not be that nervous just now ( I cover that nervous and be calm of course ) Thanks to Kayla for interrupting us. The question is how can he be here? And seems like he didn't know that I'm graduating today. Those questions I put aside and be ready for this memoriable day.

The event starts already. I can see my mom and my siblings down there. My eyes are searching for Alif. Where's him? Oh ya! He told me yesterday that he will surprise me. I start to smile. So romantic awh. And I feel like something bad will happen. Nah, it just the satan . Positive thinking please. I go to the backstage and meet my loved ones ( friends of course ). Our name announced by Mr. Jeffrey one by one. In the list , my name is the last one. And I feel like the beard can grow at my chin 😥.

The event starts with a talk from a  special guest as he is an important person in my university's organisation and he is Mr. Harold.Ooo that's why Jason is here 🤔.

" Sara, where's Alif? I didn't see him yet. " Kayla says while her eyes are  searching for him behind the large curtains on the stage. Heh? He isn't here? I thought he's already here with my family down there. Relax , he did tell you that he wanna surprise you. I smile alone when remember his words yesterday 🙂.

* 15 minutes later *

" And the last one is Sara Alanna . Give a big applause everyone "

My hands are sweating. To be honest I am so nervous right now. There's so many people down there . With the lights, the crowd, the exclusive decoration special for this graduation day. Today is such a grateful and beautiful day, celebrating with my loved ones which are my friends, my family and Alif. Still waiting for him actually 😕. I am sure if my dad is still here, he will be so happy that his daughter is graduating today ")  As I take the certificate from Mr. Harold, my eyes meet those blue eyes beside him.

Jason.

I give both of them a smile and look at  the front. The flashes from a few camera include my mom's camera automatically make me smile. This day happens once in a life so why not I give to the camera a broad smile? I thought I will see Alif taking many pictures of me with his camera but my hope burns. He isn't here.

Sigh.

I go downstage as I say ' thank you ' to Mr. Harold and hug my mom, my brothers and elder sister. So surprising when my friends from my old school before moved to Sydney is also here.
