Aesha

I leaned back on the couch. I had been here for hours. Stella left to visit her sick Grandmother. It had been a long time since I last visited Grandma Salvador. I called Stella's grandmother, Lola, too. She's under the care of a private doctor. She's Grandmom Salvador's only grandchild, so that's why. Stella lives far away, going to their vacation rest house, so she rarely visits. She trusts the doctor who takes care of her.

I looked back when I heard the door open. Stella entered looking tired from her trip. She smiled happily and sat on the couch, sitting across from me.

"How are you, Stella? Is everything okay?" I asked. She raised her feet before responding.

"The doctor said she's improving. I'm happy to hear that, it's so traffic. It's so frustrating," she said irritably. Her annoyance and tiredness were evident in her voice.

"Do you want me to serve you food?" She just shook her head.

"Are you done?" She reached for the folder and looked at my work. "You're really good, Aesha. I'm so proud of you!" She pulled me into a hug, almost squeezing me. I'm really happy that Stella has become my friend. She's like a sister and family to me.

"Thanks, But I'm nervous," she let go of the hug and pinched my cheek. "Ouch!" I rubbed my cheek.

"What are you saying? Why are you nervous when you're so smart? Believe me, you're the best." She cheered me up. I smiled. "Do you have clothes to wear?"

"I haven't bought any yet."

"Formal?" I nodded. "Fitted skirt, above the knee, and a blouse. Is that okay?" Hmm. I'm uncomfortable with skirts.

"I don't want a skirt, Stella. I prefer -."

"What are you saying? Most people at the conference wear that. Maybe you should wear white. It'll make you look presentable at the conference."

"The conference is tomorrow, Stella. I don't have time to buy." We both looked as Natasha came in. She brought a paper bag and was smiling.

"Knocking is a thing!" Stella said, annoyed but obviously amused. "What are you doing here? Who are you with?"

"Wait, Ate. The enemy is weak. Can I sit?" Natasha said with a smile. She sat on the couch next to Stella. She handed me the paper bag, so I looked at it. "Accept it, Ate. It's for tomorrow." She said with a smile. How did she know I had an event tomorrow? " Kuya Wesley told me. He's the head for tomorrow." Oh! That's right; he's our head administrator for the conference. He's also taking a phd and will graduate this year. It's nice because the four of them are graduating together.

"Thank you," I said, taking the paper bag. I laughed because Natasha hugged Stella, and then Stella pushed her away. They were joking and teasing each other. It's funny and sweet to see them. I looked inside the paper bag. White shoes, a white blouse, and a skirt with a slit on each side, above the knee. This must be the formal nurse's suit.

"Ate Stella! Just a hug." Natasha pouted. Stella and I laughed. Natasha stood up and approached me. She hugged me from behind. "At least Ate Aesha is nice." She hugged me tighter, looking happy. We laughed louder. It's nice. I felt happy because Natasha is so nice; it feels like we've been together for a long time. I wish I had a little sister like her.

We continued teasing and joking around, laughing and talking about various things. I'll continue what I was doing later. I'm almost done anyway. I want to enjoy this moment. We're like children, playing with couch pillows. Stella always bullies Natasha, and then Natasha will hide and run to me.

Wesley

I just parked my car, and Justine arrived at the same time.

"What's up!" Justine said with a laugh.
