Alexander's Point of View
silently watched Ayesha. She's really beautiful. Her face... it's captivating. It's almost three in the morning. I woke up because of the cold. I stoked the fire in the chimney again. It's not raining anymore, but it's still chilly. I adjusted Ayesha's blanket. She's lying on her side, curled up in her sleep.
No matter how hard I try to forget Ayesha, I can't. Even my feelings... I can't rid them from my heart. The closer I am to her, the more I love her. I've tried everything to avoid it, but it keeps coming back. Noona said it's Alyosha whom I love, but whenever I see Ayesha, it's his image I see. So, yes, it's the right decision not to force myself on her because in the end, I know I'll hurt her when she finds out the truth. I've become more mature now than before... and Alyosha taught me that. To cherish the things and people around me.
I stood up from my seat and headed to the kitchen. I looked for something to eat because I'm hungry. There are only fruits. I don't know how to cook noodles or anything, so I just grabbed an apple. I sat on the counter stool and took a bite of the apple while surveying the small villa. I didn't pay much attention to the villa last night. I stood up from the stool and went to the room. I approached the window and drew back the curtain to look outside. It's still dark. The window's glass is still wet. I closed the curtain again and sat on the bed. I glanced around. The room is surrounded by white paint. There are two abstract paintings above the bed and beside it, next to the wall clock. There's also a small couch on the side of the bed. Across it is a side table. At the foot of the bed and in front of the TV is a floor carpet. The room is well-arranged. My gaze shifted to behind the door... there's a guitar hanging there. I stood up and took it. I almost sneezed loudly. It's dusty. I grabbed a cloth and wiped the guitar. It seems like it hasn't been used for a long time. It also looks old.
I went back to the bed and sat cross-legged. I placed the guitar on my leg. I started plucking. Since I couldn't think of any tune, I decided to play my song for Alyosha, 'Baby That I Found You.' I plucked softly, afraid to wake Ayesha up. I also sang along.
I miss Alyosha. Her kisses, her hugs, and her cheeks... everything about her. I want to hear her laughter... but, I'll never experience that again. Alyosha and Ayesha look exactly alike. Their faces, personalities, and gestures. They're just different in their life circumstances. Alyosha comes from a wealthy family, while Ayesha is an orphan. So, I can't compare them because they're still different people. I continued to play the guitar even though I felt a pang of longing again.
AYESHA's P.O.V
~Baby, now that I've found you I won't let you go.I built my world around you I need you so,baby even though. You don't need me now.~
I woke up and listened to where the sound of the guitar and the voice were coming from. Is that Alexander? It's more delightful to hear when he plays the guitar while singing. It's more captivating. I quickly shook off the thought. Is this wrong, Ayesha? You can't love two people. But do I really love Kyler? My subconscious is interfering. I shook my head. I love him because he's my boyfriend. Listen to your heart, not your mind, Ayesha. My subconscious kept repeating.
"Ugh," I muttered weakly, messing up my hair. I'm confused. This all started during the intramurals. My feelings changed. The way my heart and mind work... everything changed. I stood up and slowly made my way to the room. The door was open, and I could see Alexander sitting cross-legged, playing the guitar.
His voice and the sound of the guitar are so beautiful. It's heartwarming. I approached him slowly. It seems he noticed me, so he stopped playing and turned to look at me.
"Good morning. Just keep playing," I said with a smile. I sat beside him, with my legs crossed on the floor.
"Good morning. Did I wake you up with my guitar playing?" I shook my head at his question. "Ah, I thought so," I said, smiling.
