"Let's meet up later," Stella said with a smile, carrying her Nike bag. Our professor had just dismissed the class. She stood up from her armchair.

I still needed to finalize the theme for the upcoming intramurals. I'll also start interviewing and taking photos of the varsity players, troop dance team, and the cheerleaders. We're divided into groups, and I still don't know who I'll be working with. The head student council said it might be a senior from another class.

I thought she was going out, but she stopped by the door, and glanced back at me. So I looked up at her. "Do you have a camera?" Oh right, I needed a camera. Last year, I wasn't assigned to the newspaper. I organized the event, so it was easy for me. I shook my head at Stella. "Oh, I see. Don't worry, we'll head to the mall later. We'll buy you one," she said with a smile and a wink. Before I could speak, she beat me to it. "Oh, don't refuse. It's my thank you gift. Bye!" And off she went.

I just chuckled. Stella was always so generous to me. She was even planning to buy me a phone, but I declined. I didn't want her to think I was taking advantage of her kindness. But now I needed a camera for the event. I just smiled and continued organizing my things. Once everything was in order, I stood up, carrying four thick books.

I headed to my locker. As I walked, embracing the books, I glanced down the other pathway. It was too quiet. I couldn't see Alexander anywhere. Where could he be? Whenever I asked Kyler, he'd just say Alexander was on vacation. I also asked if they had resolved things, but he hadn't answered me yet. I hope whatever misunderstanding they had gets resolved soon. Alexander has also become close to me, so I'm somewhat concerned about him. As for Kyler... hmm. I don't know, but whenever I'm with him, I feel happy. I always want to be with him and see him. It's like I'm searching for something I can't find. I don't understand it.

"Aesha," I heard someone call my name from behind. It was Justine and Wesley. I turned to face them and smiled. "You're carrying a lot. We'll take those for you," Justine said, approaching with Wesley.

"Oh, it's okay. I've got it," I said, feeling a bit embarrassed. They just smiled at me and took the books from me. "Thank you," I said sheepishly. Then I turned and continued walking towards my locker.

"How are you? You seem busy," Wesley said from my left side as we walked. Our lockers were quite far from our classroom.

"Just a bit," I replied with a smile.

"I heard you're going to be in charge of the newspaper for the intramurals," Justine said from my right side. They flanked me.

"Yes, that's right," I said with a smile. "Um... where's Kyler?" I asked the two of them. They exchanged glances.

"He had to go somewhere," Wesley said. "But he'll be back soon," he added with a smile.

"Why, do you miss him already?" Justine teased me.

"Ye—no," I protested. They both laughed, and I joined in. Ever since I got closer to Kyler, I've also become closer to Justine and Wesley. Whenever I'm in Andromeda and on duty, I always see and hang out with the three of them. It's been weeks since I last saw Raufh. Jr said he needed to rest for a while. I'm also worried about Raufh. We have a different lead guitarist in Andromeda for now.

We reached my locker. I took the key from my bag and unlocked it. And they put my books inside.

"Thanks, you two," I said with a smile.

"No problem. It's our duty to help out Kyler's girlfriend," Justine said with a laugh. He always teases me.

"Girlfriend? We're not even there—yet," I said, annoyed but still amused. I felt my inner goddess flutter.
