WESLEY's P.O.V
Kyler has been restless for a while now, pacing back and forth and unable to sit still. Who wouldn't be restless if his girlfriend is trapped with his best friend, whom he suspects has feelings for his girlfriend, and this girlfriend of his, he suspects has feelings for his best friend. Complicated, right? Just try to understand, haha.
The door suddenly opened, and Hope entered. Kyler greeted her.
"Noona!! Why do we have to wait until tomorrow when we can do something now?!" Kyler exclaimed.
"Kyler, calm down. You can't put your life in danger. It's too risky to go back there. Trust me. They have a place to stay there," Hope replied.
"But you don't understand, noona. You—"
"Kyler, whatever is on your mind, let it go. Trust Ayesha and your friend. They're fine. Ayesha won't let you put your life in danger either."
"It's easy for you to say that, noona. Because you're not in my position. You don't know how I feel. I thought you understood me?!" Kyler shouted.
Natasha bit her lip while standing beside Stella, looking surprised. Did Hope really trap the two of them? Why?
"What are you talking about, Kyler? Are you crazy? Why would I do that?" Hope retorted.
"Noona, you can't deny it. Because I know you're the person who's most concerned about Alexander, especially in this situation. When we were kids, he was once trapped in a cage during our camping trip. You were the first one to come up with a solution, even though you knew it was dangerous. But you still did it because you were worried about Alexander's condition. Why are you letting him now?" We all fell silent at Kyler's words, even Hope. Kyler had a point, but maybe Hope still had her reasons.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Kyler. Why would I do that?"
"Noona, I'm the kind of person who asks for reasons to understand everything. Tell me the truth about why you did that! Tell me now."
"You might as well discuss that tomorrow. We need to rest," Justine said. She was sitting cross-legged on the couch, holding the TV remote and lowering the volume.
"Yeah, Kyler. Let's just trust them. They're safe anyway," Natasha added.
I looked at Kyler and Hope. They stared at each other. I know Kyler. He doesn't let things go easily, especially if they can be discussed now. Hope took a deep breath and stepped closer to Kyler. They stood face to face.
"Do you want to know the truth? Because... I have a feeling... that Ayesha is Alyosha," Hope said. We were all shocked by what Hope said.
"Are you out of your mind, noona? You yourself know that she's not Alyosha."
"Yes, I know... but back then, on the day of the intramurals... at the marriage booth... I heard Alexander and Natasha themselves hear what Ayesha said."
"What?" Stella said, looking surprised. We all looked at her.
"She said she's ready to fight for Alexander against her parents. Even though we know Ayesha has been an orphan since she was young because that's what we know about her. She also said that even if their families become enemies. We know that's Alyosha and Alexander's situation. Our families are rivals with Alyosha's. You know that. And what troubled me was her mentioning Alexander's weaknesses..." Hope looked at us. We were all stunned by what she said. No one spoke... especially Kyler. "One of Alexander's weaknesses is the loud sound of thunder and the light of lightning... those are the things he fears. Only Alyosha and I know." She explained. Still, no one said anything. Was Alexander really afraid of thunder and lightning? That's why he goes straight home when it rains and locks himself in his room. But, what Hope said... is it true?
