AYESHA's POINT OF VIEW

It's been a month since Kyler and I became a couple. I'm happy being with him, and I know he feels the same way. He's become sweeter lately. Every Saturday, he visits me at home, always bringing flowers and chocolates. Ever since the students found out about Kyler and me, they've stopped bullying me as much. Even Cheska avoids me now. It's better this way, no more trouble.

I'm getting my camera ready. I'm sitting on the couch, waiting for Kyler. He's supposed to pick me up. Stella has already gone to school to prepare for their game later. Today is our school intramurals. There's a knock on the door, so I quickly stand up and open it. Kyler greets me with a smile. He wraps his arm around my waist and kisses me on the forehead, then on the nose, and finally on the lips. I smile back.

"Let's go," he says. I nod with a smile. He grabs my bag and leads the way. We exit the house and get into his car. He starts the engine and begins driving. As we drive, we talk.

"Good luck in your game later," I say with a smile to Kyler. He's a baseball player, and Alexander is on his team.

"Thank you. I'll do my best. Hope you can watch," I nod with a smile, even though he can't see me as he's focused on driving.

We arrive at school. He parks the car, and we enter the campus together. There are a lot of people from different schools. Many girls are looking at Kyler. He's really well-known. The school looks different too, like a theme park. There's a ferris wheel in the back field, not too tall, and a roller coaster, along with booths. On the other field, soccer and baseball players are competing. In the court, there are many people too. Basketball, volleyball, and badminton players are competing. Kyler and I walk hand in hand.

"Ate Ayesha!" we both turn to the side as Natasha approaches us. She's running towards us, smiling. Kyler and I stop. "Hi ate, hi kuya," she greets us.

"Hello. Why isn't Emerald with you?" I ask.

"They're here with Marvin, ate," she explains. "They're the representatives of Faure University, that's why she's not with me, she's cheering for them there," she says with a laugh.

"If that's the case, is Raufh here?" I ask. Natasha looks at Kyler, then at me.

"Hmm, yes," she answers briefly. Natasha knows about Raufh. "Okay, ate, I'll find you later," she smiles, then adds, "I'll go look for ate Stella to mess with her," she laughs as she runs off.

"Are you still affected?" I turn to Kyler. I'm not affected by Raufh anymore, but I think I need to talk to him about our last conversation.

"Not really. Let's go," I say. I hold onto his arm.

We were all gathered at the oval. There were many students lined up from other schools, their representatives. I was in the front with my publishing team. I had my camera ready and started taking photos. We were still at the forefront as the cheering squad presentations began. Cheska and the other schools performed. I captured them in photos. The head councilor, SSG officer, SPA team captain, and the Dean spoke.

The games began. I was assigned to three sectors: volleyball, basketball, and baseball. Since the games weren't simultaneous, I could capture them all. I was at the court, and volleyball was the first game. I waved at Stella when I saw her on the court, and she waved back, giving me a thumbs-up and a wink. They took their positions. Stella was a blocker, and since they were still on rotational serving, she served first. I took her picture, and it turned out beautifully. I captured many photos of Stella and her teammates jumping. Their game was intense, and they had a significant lead against the opposing university. Henderson's male students cheered loudly. I kept clicking until their game ended. Stella's team won.
