Luke could feel his life slipping out of his hands. He was sitting on the shambles of his dining table. The one that Michael broke all those days ago. Tears streamed down his face. He hadn't stopped crying. He hadn't ate, slept, or drank since Michaels depart. His throat was on fire, but he could not die.
Nothing was ever fair.
Luke screamed, throwing his head to the sky. Thunder cracked, and clear droplets fell on him.
He had to break free. Luke stood and ran to the sea, jumping in the icy water. The waves sensed him, and they grew, trying to swallow him. Luke had never tried to escape before.
The blonde swam miles into the ocean. The waves pushed him around, but he would not give up. He had to leave.
Suddenly, his head hit a glass wall. He pressed his hands up against it, scratching and clawing at it. It would not break.
He could never leave.
The waves pulled him under, and water filled his lungs.
The next morning, Luke woke up on his beach, coughing up salt water as tears rolled down his cheeks.
