Chapter 18

I woke up, and May was already awake, excited to see more. We walked downstairs and had breakfast with the guys, and walked outside to show May some more of Earth.

"What was it like?" May asked while we were walking.

"What was what like?"

"What was it like being the first one here?"

"Exciting, but a little scary too."

"I bet it was exciting."

"Yeah, once you know that you made it here and you're alive it's pretty cool."

"Yeah, I wish I was the first one here."

"Well, at least you are here."

"Yeah and just in time too."

"What do you mean?"

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you."

"What is it?"

"You know how you were the first one?"

"Yeah, so?"

"Well I'm the last one."

"What?"

"I'm the last one they're ever going to send to Earth."

"Why?"

"Because they all thought you and Chase and Emmett were dead. I'm the last one they're sending here because it's too dangerous to send anyone else."

"Oh, did you guys think I was dead?"

"I didn't believe it, and I don't really think Michael or Lillie believed you were dead either."

"That's good, I don't want them thinking I'm dead."

"Yeah, but I think it will be hard for then without us."

"It will, but I think they will grow up to be something great."

"I can't believe they aren't going to send anymore people down here."

"Yeah, but we are here, so let's make the best of it."

"Ok, you're right."

We walked around and we got to the bowling place. I suggested that we go in and play a few games and May agreed. We played a few games and May wasn't that bad at bowling for her first time.

After May and I were done bowling, we walked by a small lake. While we were there, we decided to go swimming. We swam in the lake for a few hours, and decided to go back to my house and get something to eat.

May and I cooked the food, and then walked across the street to get Chase and Emmett to see if they wanted to eat with us. After we got Chase and Emmett, we sat down and ate fruit salad and sandwiches. May and I walked into the living room with Chase and Emmett and sat down on the couch.

"So, what do you guys want to talk about?" I asked.

"I don't know, what did you do today?" Emmett asked.

"We went swimming and bowling and just talked for a while."

"Oh, sounds like you had a pretty relaxing and fun day."

"Yeah, how about you guys?"

"Oh, we didn't do much."

"Ok, how about the electronics? Did you guys get any of it to work?"

"No, actually we haven't been there today, we were planning on taking a day off and we were going to go back and work on it some more tomorrow."

"Ok, well if you guys need help, we can always try." May said.

"Ok, well it's getting late, so we should probably head back to our house."

"Ok, bye."

They left and me and May cleaned up the dishes and then we went to bed, so we could help them the next day.
