Her down fall

Bodies- Drowning Pool

Chogan’s P.O.V.

Honey, Chogan, Dad, and I quietly enter the castle through the slave entrance. Our quiet foot steps are the only sounds to be heard, as we slink through the cold damp passage.

Honey frowns and stops suddenly, “Something isn’t right.”

“Stay here.” She snaps and quiet rounds the corner.

There are a few moments of silence before we hear a gasp and some scuffling. We look at each other and quick round the corner. Alana stands, over Honey her fist full of Honeys hair and knife to her throat. Honey holds perfectly still and glares at us.

“I thought I told you guys to stay.” She growls when Alana tightens her grip on her hair.

“Quiet bitch,” Alana snarls.

Honey grits her teeth and says nothing.

“Let Honey go Alana,” I growl taking a cautious step forward.

Alana scowls, “What do you see in her?”

I raise a brow, “See it who?”

“You know who! The angel bitch.”  I growl and take a step toward her.

My father puts a hand on my shoulder to hold me back.

I put on a smirk, “I love her because she is kind, brave, beautiful, and sexy as hell. She is willing to sacrifice herself for the good of others. I love her because she is everything your not.”

Alana eyes are blazing, her grip on Honeys hair slackens, and she lets out a furious howl before throwing herself at me.

 I brace myself and stumble back when her body hits mine.

Rolling onto my back and kick her stomach with both feet and throw her over my head. She sails over my head and hits the wall. Ky runs over to Honey and helps her up.

“I think it’s time for you guys to find Aura.” I tell the others while keeping my eyes on Alana, who is struggling to stand.

They nod and leave the room. Unsheathing the knife Aura gave me, I prepare for battle. Alana looks at the knife and the blood drains from her face.

“Where did you get that?” she hisses.

“Does it matter? All you need to know is that this is the sword I shall slay you with.” She cackles.

“As if you could really kill me, you love me. You let me get to know your family and watched as I burned down your house and stole your dead mother’s sacred necklace.” She smiles sweetly.

I clench my fists and snarl at her, “I will kill you, and then I will kill your father.”

She smiles sweetly and unsheathes her sword, “You are weak and pitiful, and you can never defeat me!” She lunges at me.

I duck and roll out of the way, and duck to avoid being decapitated. Blocking her next attack, I elbow her in the stomach and dive to the left as she takes a wild swing at my head again. 

“You bastard!” She roars and with a flick of her wrist sends me flying into the hard stone wall.

My head cracks against the wall and my eyes blur. Squinting, I try and watch her as pain radiates through my head. I see her blurrily figure rush toward me and barely have time to deflect her attack. I close my eyes and will my head to stop hurting and push her away with all my strength. She flies across the room and lands gracefully on her feet in a crouch.

 While repeatedly blinking my eyes, I struggle to my feet. Realizing that I have dropped my knife, my eyes scan the room and I realize it lies in the center of the room. Looking at Alana, I find her starring at it too. We lock eyes and I growl at her, she just smirks and dives toward the knife. Leaping toward her, I grab her wrist and squeeze. She gasps as the bones in her wrist broke. Reaching out I grab the knife and roll away into my feet.

Cradling her wrist, she struggles to her feet and growls at me.

“You will pay for that!” She leaps at me and rakes her nails across my face.

With all my strength, I swing the knife up and stab her in the heart. Gasping, she looks down at the knife sticking out of her heart. Slowly, she sinks to the floor, face etched in horror. She falls to the floor eyes wide open and lifeless.

Retrieving my knife, I wipe the blood off on her shirt, sheath it, and walk from the room without looking back.
