We all sit in silence for a second.

"Let's start with why we are here." Honeybunch says helpfully.

"Right, well I'm here to help Chogan defeat the Shadow King and...." at this point I trail off.

Chogan bulks.

I sigh "I'm also here to help you...."

Before I could finish he stands.

"What help me forget? Well I'm sorry but I can't forget. That someone I thought loved me betrayed me. I can't forget the pain I felt when I realized the person I had trusted with my secrets, was behind the attacks on my family." he takes a deep breath.

"If you are done, can I finish what I was saying?" I ask patiently.

He sits down and I go on.

"Anyway that is not what I was going to say. I was going to say move on. I would never ask you to forget; in fact you should remember it will have you more determined and stronger. However, if you don't move on your fate will not be good. You have to let go of the pain in your heart so you can let all the other love meant for you in."

Chogan snorts "What do you know?" he gives me no time to answer.

"Right what are you like 15? How long have you been doing this job? A whole fucking day?"

"Chogan! How dare you be so rude to our guest?!" Nick says angrily.

I watch them warily suddenly feeling a hundred years older.

"Actually I am 19 and although I only died 6 months ago, I do my job well." I say calmly.

"Died?" Chogan echoes.

I laugh humorlessly "How do you think chosen angels where created? Unlike the myths we are not created from glowing mist or magic dust or anything silly like that. At one time I was mortal, after I died I found out about magic and all kinds of creatures that at one time where myths to me. I also learned that we were among the few lucky souls picked to be chosen angels."

They all look at me for a second.

"Wait you said we?" Ky cocks his head to the side.

Honeybunch jumps in.

"Baby doll and I died the same day. We were best friends when we where mortals too. We were driving home from school when a drunk driver ran a stoplight and hit the passenger side of the car going 110mph. When the car hit us I was killed instantly, however Baby doll who had been driving was not hurt as much by the first car that hit us, but by the second. You see when the first car hit us it pushed our car across the intersection where a second car hit us breaking her spine. She lived long enough for them to get her to the hospital, where she died on the operating table." Honeybunch finished.

I send Honeybunch a grateful look and once again all was silent.

"I'm sorry I didn't know." Chogan says quietly.

"No harm, no foul." I shrug.

Now the silence was just getting awkward.

"Why where you sent to help me? I mean there must be tons of people who need more help than me, why not them?" Chogan asks.

"You are meant to do great things for this world Chogan, but if you do not move on and clear away the pain in your heart, you will do more bad for the world and yourself, then good." He thinks about this for a second.

"I will accept your help." he nods.

"And I am sorry for treating you the way I did." he stands and shakes my hand.
