Feart the Hurt (Part Two) | Adrienette
Alya barged in the classroom with a stern expression; completely confused and clueless of what is happening. She crossed her arms, clearly annoyed, "Can someone at least summarize the situation here?"
"Nino just humiliated Marinette in front of the whole class!" Rose exclaimed, wide-eyed. She faced Nino's direction and slightly glared at him before speaking. "He told us that Adrien does not really love Marinette, and that it was all just a challenge! I thought that they are genuinely in love with each other. They looked so perfect together; like they are really meant to be..." she trailed off, her head slowly hung low in disappointment.
Adrien flinched when he heard Rose's statement; especially in the 'genuinely in love with each other' part. He did genuinely love Marinette, but he just realized that in the end when he was already too late.
He cautiously averted his eyes to Alya to see her reaction; quite afraid to die on the spot. Adrien knows how dangerous Alya is when it comes to circumstances that involves her best friend.
Alya's mouth formed an 'o' shape in shock, but immediately pursed her lips before heading to Nino's direction to slap him in the face. Nino hastily hid behind Adrien's back; his legs trembling with fear as Alya's face scrunched in annoyance at his childish behavior.
Instead, Alya slapped Adrien's face; the collision of her hand and his face made a loud sound that echoed across the whole room. Adrien was dumbfounded by her sudden action but he did not move nor react. He deserved it, anyway.
"How dare y-you both," her index finger motioned to the two boys. Alya's brows knitted together when she looked at Adrien, his face still red because of her slap. "especially you, Adrien! You do know that your best friend is too insensitive and stupid to be aware of his wrong actions but of course, you did not use your brain! Do you even have one?"
"Excuse me, little brunette but I think you are the one who is not using your brain," Chloe chimed with a grimace on her face. Her arms were crossed to her chest as she raised her brow to Alya. "You are making a scene, are you not aware? Plus, do not even try to slap my Adrikins again or I will call the police to arrest you, you ugly skank."
"I do have a brain, unlike you," Alya spat in disgust, rolling her eyes. "You do not even know how to properly apply make up to your face since your face looks extremely colorful right now, like it was colored by a five-year-old kid."
"Hmm, you are right, Alya. Her face does look colorful," an all too familiar laugh was heard by the doorway.
Everyone gasped in horror when they averted their attention to the girl who stood by the doorway. Adrien widened his eyes when he slowly turned his back to look at the person.
Marinette.
She was not on her usual outift. Instead, she was wearing a long black dress that reached her feet; a slit on the right side of the dress which revealed her right leg. Red gloves covered up her hands and a black, broken heart-shaped necklace looped around her neck. Marinette's eyelids were also covered with black eye shadow while her lips forms a broken heart in the middle every time she purses her lips.
She was akumatized by Hawkmoth, Adrien thought as he watched the akumatized Marinette smirked evilly at Chloe. He needs to transform into his alter ego to stop her beforehand. But, he could not leave his classmates with an akumatized villain in the same room as them; not unless Ladybug arrives then that would buy him some time to go out and transform into Chat Noir.
Where is Ladybug, anyway?
"Hm, let us drain your face's colorfulness, shall we?" Marinette pressed the broken heart-shaped pendant on her necklace; a combination of black and red light started to flicker on both of her palms, broken hearts floated around the light. She directed her left palm to Chloe's direction, blasting her power to the screaming blonde.
