Anyways, I hope you're awake right now. :-( I honestly can't sleep, but that's okay since tomorrow is a Saturday. But still, I hope you're awake because I looove talking to my internet friend!

The corner of his lips slowly curved into a small smile as he read the email that his internet friend sent him a few minutes ago. Like his internet friend, he could not sleep as well. He was also really happy that she was up too. Adrien pursed his lips in concentration as he started to compose his message.

To: Marinette Dupain-Cheng
Subject: I'M ALSO ONLINE, HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF EARTH!!!
Oh please, Mari. 'Adrikins', really? Great way to start your message, by the way. A round of applause for the best email composer. Please do note the sarcasm.
I don't know if it makes sense though, but whatever.
Plus, how many times do I need to tell you that I look cute as a cat, not as a puppy? Gosh, Mari. I'm really offended. Don't take this as a joke, I'm serious.
And just so you know, I do look cute in person. I reckon that you won't be able to take your eyes off me if we finally see each other personally. ;-)
In all honesty, I really can't wait to see you, Marinette. You're the only person who I trust in this cruel world -- well aside from my best friend, Nino. But hey, you're veryyy special to me.
If only we can break the distance between us. :-(

Adrien clicked the send button, before completely leaning his back to the backrest of his computer swivel chair with an exasperated sign escaping his lips. It was true that he really cannot wait to meet his internet friend, especially now that he fell in love with her by accident.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste are two inseparable internet friends, if that is even comprehensible. The two teens became close last year, due to the mistake that Marinette's best friend, Alya, committed in her computer.

"Marinette," the brunette whipped her head to her best friend's direction, pure confusion filled her golden eyes. "gurl, how do you use your computer?"
The bluenette looked up from her sketchbook, and raised her brow, "Why are you asking?"
"I need to send an email to Nino regarding our filming dates for our project in English," Alya replied nonchalantly before concluding it with an eye roll.
Marinette smirked, "Filming dates, huh?"
Alya's cheeks turned pink, and instantly looked at her grinning best friend with a glare, "It is for my English final grade, Marinette. I am sure you are aware that I really dislike Nino, right? I told you that for like a million times already!"
"Relax girl, no need to be so defensive!" the bluenette giggled lowly before approaching her aggravated best friend.
She turned on her computer and opened a tab that contained her email account. Marinette stepped back from her desktop and let her best friend do her thing. Of course, her stupidity kicked in once again—she forgot to log out her account.
A few moments have passed, and a sudden scream escaped from Alya's lips, eventually interrupting Marinette's sketching. The bluenette annoyingly gazed at her best friend, "Why were you screaming? It ruined my sketch!"
The brunette looked at her apologetically, "Sorry, Mari. It is just that I forgot Nino's email address!"
"What?" Marinette yelled frantically, causing her to shut her sketchbook completely.
"Wait, wait, wait!" her best friend stared into space for a while before averting her eyes to Marinette. "I think it is greeneyedcat13@chat.com!"
Little did the brunette know that the email address actually belongs to Nino's best friend, Adrien.
Marinette shrugged, "Uh, okay then."

And fortunately, that was when Adrien and Marinette's friendship begins.
