LEXA POV:

Your jolted awake, and move your hands up to shield your face from the fist your fear is coming but your hands cant get there fast enough, they're being held out in front of you by something you can't identify, partially because you haven't dared to open your eyes, not yet.

Your mind races with what this new form of torture could be,

There's not much they haven't tried yet and you're not sure there's even anything they wouldn't do, they'd do anything for Clarke.

You've been burned, starved, cut, electrified, beaten and there's probably even more they've done that you don't, can't remember. Some of it you might not want to.

You tried so hard to stay strong, for your people, for Clarke but there's a breaking point for everyone and they found yours.

BANG.

Your head aches from the contact with, well, you can't tell what it is that hit your head, all you know is that is wasn't a fist.

" Dammit " you hear the angel like voice that haunted your dreams while the owner was absence from your life, the voice scolds herself just ahead of you. Feeling a Warmth radiating from your chest your eyes shoot open, and within seconds register your surroundings. It's her back that you hit your head on, It's a horse that you're sitting on and it's her arms that are keeping your arms restrained, and after frantically searching the surrounding woods you see no sign of Bellamy.

" Clarke " you breathe into her gorgeous hair that sits just centimetres from your face, tears start to sting your eyes so you keep your face hidden in the safety of the blondes hair, wrapping your arms even tighter around her waist, refusing to let go.

She's here, okay, alive. It wasn't a dream.

" Hey, it's okay, you're okay " she says quietly, reassuringly. You feel her hand move over yours, rubbing soothing circles over the back of your palm. With each second it becomes increasingly harder to hold the tears back, you can't believe she's real, but she is, she's here and you can feel her, she's not a dream or an apparition, she's alive.

" You're real " you murmur into her hair, still refusing to let go. Your never going to let her go, never going to leave her, never again.

" Yes, I am, and you found me " She says and you can hear the hint of a smirk on her lips without even a glance at them.

You found me.

Flashes of your nightmare come back to you,

" You need to find her ".

" Clarke. find Clarke ".

But how could she know?

" Fun fact the Commander of blood speaks in her sleep " she laughs mischievously. Finishing the train of your thoughts. You hear somebody else let out a stifled laugh and your head shoots up to find Marcus riding beside you, He notices your gaze and swiftly diverts his attention to the trees above, faking an over the top amount of excitement for the branches overhead, he mumbles something and laughs an obviously fake smile, probably trying to add to his story but you're not paying attention.

Colour floods to your cheeks, and they feel as if they are on fire, your head drops backs down to hide in Clarkes hair and you groan. No one makes the commander blush but Clarke yet again has managed to make me do something no one else can. Your mind goes blank and you have no idea what so say, no ideas on how to play this down.

" Clar-"

" Lexa what did they do to you? " She asks cutting you off, all humour vanishing from her tone, in part your glad because you had no idea where you were going with that, but just by her tone you can tell this is could be a painful conversation.

" What? ".

" I've never heard your voice like that, you sounded so scared, i.. " You can hear her voice almost crack. " What did they do to you? " she re voices her question with so much pain lacing her words that you can't help but entwine your fingers and tighten your grasp around her waist, not caring if Marcus is still watching.

" That doesn't matter now " You brush away the question, your head raising from her hair, she doesn't need to know, she shouldn't have to know. She will just blame herself when truly there is no blame to be held on her.

You try to sit up and straighten your back so that you aren't leaning so much on Clarke, but you quickly realise you still can't support yourself with your body in the state it is in, and you fall straight back to her, quietly letting out a squeak of pain, hoping she doesn't notice and become even more worried. You realise you have failed miserably as she tenses in front of you and tightens her grasp on your hand.

" I'm fine " you say softly giving up on trying to support yourself, leaning back down onto Clarke and resting your head on her shoulder, you're so tired you feel as though you could pass out at any moment.

" Lexa please " she pleads, her voice trying but still no where near as strong as it could be, as it use to be.

Your eyes flutter back to life " Clarke i know you, If i tell you, all the blame is going to go straight onto your back in your mind, even if you wont admit it, and i wont let that happen because that is not where the blame lies, it lies with the people who did this to me " you try to reason, but she is stubborn, you think almost everyone who has spent even a day with her knows this.

" Lexa i need to kn- "

" Girls " Kane speaks cutting Clarke off before she can finish.

" Not now Kane can't you see we're trying to have a conversation " Clarke says her voice tinted with annoyance.

" But we're he- "

" Kane just give us a minute would you? " She shouts over him, okay maybe a little more than tinted with annoyance.

" Clarke look! " You speak over the pairs bickering " We're here ".
