(Y/N) started walking to school with the two brothers; Alfred used to leave a lot later (and manage to get to school right on time), but then started waking up earlier to walk with (Y/N) and Matthew.
   Every morning they would talk, laugh, and make jokes. But as soon as they would arrive at the school, (Y/N) would go back to her quite and mostly silent state.
   The day after the first confidence lesson, (Y/N) walked into her chemistry class. She sat down and opened up her book to reveiw the chapter they had been assigned  for homework.
   "Hey, (Y/N)!" She jumped slightly as she heard her name called. She turned and looked to see Alfred walking over to her.
   "H-hi A-Alfred...," she muttered as she tilted her head down. Oh right... Alfred thought She still acts shy at school... He looked around to see other students looking at them and mumbling to each other.
   Alfred took the seat next to (Y/N). "Sorry," Alfred said in a quieter voice, "I didn't mean to bring you any unwanted attention."
   (Y/N) continued to stare down. She could feel the peoples' gazes on the back of her head. "It's okay...," she mumbles, even quieter than usual.
   "It doesn't look like you're okay with it..." He sat for a moment. "Here! I have an idea!" He pulled out two pens and a piece of paper. He kept the blue pen and handed (Y/N) the red one. He began to write something down on the paper. Once he was finished he handed it to (Y/N). She read what was written.
Sup Dudette!
She picked up the red pen and began to write. She handed it back to Alfred.
Alfred... What is this?
   It's a note we pass back and forth to each other.
   Why?
   Well, you go back into shy mode at school, but I want to be able to talk to you. So since you don't seem like you'd say much if we actually talked, I figured you'd be able to say what you wanted if no one could hear you.
   Wow... That's actually a pretty smart idea.
   I know! The Hero can solve any problem!
  Oh you can, can you?
   Yup! Just like how the hero and his sidekick are going to help you solve your problems!
   Sidekick? Do you mean Matthew?
   Who else would I mean?
   And you say you two are going to help me with my problems.
   Yup! We're gonna make you feel better about yourself! And we'll be there to help you in anything you could need help with.
   Aww. Thanks Alfred.
   No problem! That's what friends are for. Especially when you have a friend as great as the amazing HERO!!!
   The two of you had managed to fill the entire page with notes. Not long after the teacher walked in and class began.
   ~~~Time Skip~~~
   (Y/N) and Matthew walked out of their class and started to head outside. It was lunch time and the two of them went over to their usual spot, a small tree off to the side of the school (this was the spot where Y/N had used to sit at alone.)
"You okay?" Matthew asks, "You seem a bit more flustered and worried than usual? Did something happen?"
(Y/N) looks at him. "It's nothing much. Just that... Earlier today, Alfred called out to me when he came into the class... Some of the people started to look at me... Now I just can't get rid of that feeling of the people staring at the back of my head..."
Matthew let out a sigh. "That's just how he is: Enthusiastic, Loud, Kind of forgetful... But he can also be kind, friendly, protective... He never means to do anything like that intentionally... Most of the time... But overall he's a good person, eh."
(Y/N) smiled slightly. "Yeah... After he did that he had an idea that we could communicate by writing notes on a piece of paper, so I wouldn't have to talk."
"There you dudes are!" The two looked up to see the loud Anerican walking towards them. "I was looking for you guys everywhere."
"This is where we normally sit," Matthew explained.
"It's nice. I've never been over here before."
"This was (Y/N)'s spot."
She slightly smirked. "Does the Hero approve of this spot?"
Alfred grinned. "Of course! It's a great spot!"
He sat down on the grass next to Matthew and (Y/N). "So what were you two talking about before I got here?" He asked.
"Actually, we were talking about you," (Y/N) responded.
Alfred looks at the two with curiousity in his expression. "What were you saying about me?"
"Oh... Nothing really."
"No, what! You can't just not tell me!"
"Why not?
"Well... Because it concerns me, so I have to know."
"Well, too bad." She stuck out her tounge. Matthew laughed.
He was happy to see (Y/N) talking more, even if it was just with them. He liked hearing her talk and laugh. He was glad she would at least talk to them. He still wanted to help her feel more confident though. But, he could already tell she was progressing. The way she talked around them... It was different then how she had ever talked before... He knew eventually she'd open up more...
The rest of the lunch period they talked and laughed. But then it ended. The three went their separate ways to each of their classes.
~~~Time Skip~~~
School had ended, and Alfred, Matthew, and (Y/N) walked home from school together. (Y/N) recieved a message on her phone and frowned.
   "Um.... G-guys, I can't come over today...," she said. The brothers turned to look at her.
   "Eh? Why?""Huh? Why?" They said in unison. She looked down. "I-I just can't... W-well s-something's come up... A-and I have to go..." She turned around and started running.
   Matthew and Alfred just stood in shock. "What do ya think that was about?" Alfred asked.
   Matthew shook his head. "I don't know. But it seemed important, eh."
   "Probably. But she her voice turned shaky. So... I don't think it's something good..."
   "Should we do something aboot it?"
   "I don't think so... It seemed like she didn't want anyone else to know what it was..."
    "You're right... We should probably just leave her be..."
   "We can help her tomorrow if she needs it..."
   The two walked home, but they were worried for (Y/N)... They had the same thought...I hope she'll be ok...
