The day had gone by so quickly. The sun  was setting in the distance. More people were arriving at the park. Snow started to fall. The park lights began to light up in an array of bright colors. In the distance the ferris wheel spun slowly and shone brightly. It truly was beautiful.

(Y/N)'s eyes lit up at the sight of the seen that was before her. The shining lights illuminated the falling snow and the blanket of it on the ground. Only one thing bothered her. The people. Pretty much the entire town was there. Sure it wasn't really a big town, but still... it was a lot of people compared to what (Y/N) was used to dealing with.

She felt kind of dizzy, but did not let it show. She refused to bother the brothers with her own problems. Of course she was happy, she was delighted in fact, but just the amount of people there terrified her. She made sure to stick by there sides. As they made their way through the crowd, she tightly clutched each of their hands.

The brothers knew she was holding their hands because she was scared, but they couldn't help secretly smiling to themselves. She had told them she loved them. They knew she could only choose one of them, but which one would she choose? When would she choose? What would make her choose one brother over the other? They had discussed this stressful topic with each other and made the decision that no matter what happened they would be happy for (Y/N). That's all they wanted, for (Y/N) to be happy... No matter how much it would break the other's heart, they would be happy for her.

It was about 7 o'clock when the carnival became really energetic and festive. There were people laughing, singing, eating treats, playing in the snow, and much more. (Y/N), Matthew, and Alfred finally reached a clearing in the crowd and decided to orient themselves.

"So... the food booths are... there..." said Matthew as he pointed to the left of where they were standing. "So... where are we headed?" asked Alfred and he span around to look at all the possible routes they could take. When suddenly...

"Ah! There you three chaps are." They turned to see Arthur approach them. He was smiling... weird... "Matthew," he said as he walked up to the Canadian boy. "E-eh?"Arthur would never acknowledge Matthew first, so he was kind of confused.

"Why don't we go walk around together?" Arthur said with a... smile...

"Wh-what?"

"Why don't we go for a stroll together. Oh! I would love to go try some of that hot chocolate right about now. It's bloody cold out here."

"Th-that's not... Wh-what I meant was... why me?"

"Well I figured I haven't really talked to you as much recently. So, I thought we could take a little stroll to... bond. I would not want you to think I was ignoring you."

Arthur took Matthew's hand and started dragging him toward the food court.

"O-okay then.." Matthew said awkwardly.

Arthur waved to Alfred and (Y/N). "Don't worry. I'll return him soon enough."

(Y/N) and Alfred just stood there for a moment. "That was... interesting." (Y/N) said. "Yeah.." Alfred responded, still a bit confused by the whole scenario. Then it hit him. I'm alone with (Y/N).

He looked around frantically, he couldn't let this moment go so easily. He scanned over the entire park, what he could see at least. Then it struck him. It stood out more than anything else.

"Hey (Y/N)?" Alfred called to her. She turned around to face him. Her face was tinted red from the cold, especially her nose. He swallowed. "W-would you... D-do you wanna go on the ferris wheel. With me?" (Y/N) thought for a moment. She didn't want to exclude Matthew, but by the looks of things it didn't seem like Arthur would be back any time soon...
