Matthew woke when he heard laughing and music playing downstairs. Ehh...? Alfred's up this early on a weekend? He then heard a girl's laugh. Oh, that's right (Y/N) is here! He got up and went downstairs.
He saw Alfred and (Y/N) in the kitchen laughing while covered in batter.
"Eh... Good morning you two," Matthew said. The two looked up at him, still laughing. "Oh! Morning, Mattie!" Alfred exclaimed. "D-did we wake you?" (Y/N) asked shyly. Though the brothers both knew they were trying to get her to stop being shy, they still thought she was adorable when she was.
Matthew shook his head. "Well... Yeah... But I needed to get up anyway." (Y/N) slightly tilted her head down. "S-sorry, Matthew..." Matthew shook his head again. "No, it's fine," He looked at the mess the two had made, "What are you doing?"
"W-we thought, since you always make breakfast, we would be nice and make it for you today," (Y/N) explained.
Matthew smiled. Th-that's really nice of them... He thought. At least I know that they care aboot me...
"Do you need any help, eh?" He asked. (Y/N) shook her head. "We're doing this for you. You don't need to help."
Matthew smiled. He watched as the two made pancakes. They were doing a different method from what he normally did. He wanted to step in and do it his way, but he didn't. He knew they only wanted to do something nice for him, so he let them be.

(Y/N) walked over to Matthew, who was sitting on the couch, and handed him a plate with a stack of pancakes. He looked up at her. She had pancake batter all over her face and clothes, but she had a small, shy smile on her face. This made Matthew smile, too.
He took a bite of the pancakes. (Y/N) looked at him with anticipation. "S-so? H-how is it?" Matthew swallowed and smiled.
   "Th-they're really good."
   "R-really? Y-you think so?"
   Matthew nodded.
(Y/N) smiled and he smiled in return. He was glad (Y/N) finally seemed to be opening up to him and Alfred. He liked having her around. He liked seeing her smile and laugh. He wanted her to be happy.
"You should probably go change clothes," he said. (Y/N) looked down and saw the mess she had made. She slightly gasped. "O-oh... Yeah... I-I'll be back in a minute." She walked away and went into her room.
Alfred, who had already changed, came into the living room and sat next to Matthew. "(Y/N) seems pretty happy." Alfred said through a mouthful of pancakes.
   Matthew nodded. "Y-yeah... I-it's nice..."
Alfred swallowed. "Yeah. Seeing (Y/N) happy makes me happy, you know?"
"Y-yeah... I feel the same way, eh...."
"Just something about her it makes me feel..."
   "Warm inside?"
"Yeah. Whenever she's happy, it makes me happy. When she's sad I feel sad. And sometimes when I look at her... I have this weird feeling..."
"Y-yeah... I-I've had that feeling too..."
"Really? Do you know what it is?"
    Matthew shook his head.
Alfred and Matthew both sat in silence for a moment. Eventually, Alfred said, "D-do you think... It could be... That we... Like... (Y/N)...?"
Matthew began to blush. "I-is that what that is? D-do we like (Y/N)?"
   "I think so, bro..."
   "What do you think?"
The brothers turned around to see (Y/N) standing in the doorway. Both of their faces went red.
"(Y-Y/N)!" Alfred exclaimed, "H-how much of that conversation did you hear?"
(Y/N) looked at them confused. "Um... Just that last sentence. Why?"
The two boys let out a sigh of relief. "It's nothing don't worry about it," Alfred said. (Y/N) was confused, but decided not to press the matter if they did not want to talk about it.
She sat down next to the two of them. They both slightly tilted their heads down as they attempted to hide their red faces.
"I-is something wrong?" (Y/N) asked with a concerned look on her face.
The brothers looked at each other. "N-nothing is wrong, (Y/N)," Matthew said.
"But, do you mind if me and Mattie go talk to each other, privately, for a bit?"
(Y/N) nodded. She had a concerned look on her face. The two brothers stood and walked into a different room, leaving (Y/N) to eat her pancakes.
Alfred closed the door to the room and looked at Matthew. They both let out a sigh.
"Look, Mattie bro, we can't let our feelings for (Y/N) get in the way of hanging out with her. She'll get concerned about why we're acting strange and might get upset again. She might think we don't like her or something."
"S-so what should we do..."
"We just have to do what we have been doing. Keep hanging out with (Y/N) like normal. Try to just act like you did before."
"B-but... N-now that I understand how I feel... I-I get even more nervous around her..."
Alfred puts his hand on his brother's shoulder. "I know, bro, this dudette has made even the Hero a bit nervous... But we have to put that aside... For her..."
Matthew nodded. "R-right... I-I'll do my best." Alfred smiled. "B-but I have one more question..."
Alfred looked at his brother, who had a slight blush on his face. "Wh-what do we do... W-we both like (Y-Y/N)... Wh-what are we going to do...?"
Alfred had not wanted to think about that question. He let out a small sigh. He thought for a moment and then answered Matthew's question.
"Let's just hang out with her more... We'll see if anything changes... If not we'll talk again..."
Matthew nodded. The two left the room and went back to sit by (Y/N). "A-are you sure you're both okay...?" She asked concerned. "We're fine," they said in unison as they both had a smile on their faces.
This made (Y/N) feel better. She returned the smile. They began to talk as they normally would. But, (Y/N) was still concerned. Why had the two of them been acting so weird?
