The winter season had already started, but the day after the movie was when the first snow of the season fell. It was about midday when it started. The students were out to lunch when tiny white droplets began to fall from the sky.

   "WOAH! Dude, it's snowing!" Alfred exclaimed when one of the snowflakes fell on his forehead. A big smile formed on (Y/N)'s face. Matthew noticed her expression.

   "You like the snow, eh?" He asked. She nodded in response. "It's so beautiful and amazing. W-when I was little I used to play in the snow with my friends..." She drifted off, remembering the wonderful times she had.

   "W-well, since you had good memories with snow... W-why don't we play in the snow after school?" Matthew asked, a bit shyly. "Yeah bro! That'll be awesome!" Alfred exclaimed excitedly. "What do you think (Y/N)?" Matthew asked.

   (Y/N) smiled shyly. "Y-yeah. Th-that sounds like fun."

   "Alright! This is going to be amazing!" Alfred shouted as he fell onto his back. Matthew and (Y/N) laughed a little at his actions. The bell rang and the students went inside for class.

   ~~~Time Skip~~~
   By the time school ended, the ground was covered in a thin layer of snow. "It's so beautiful," (Y/N) said, her nose and cheeks became tinted red from the cold. Aw how cute the two brothers thought.
   "Hey!" Alfred said as he stopped, "I'm starving. Do you mind if I go get a burger or two?" Matthew and (Y/N) nodded and began to walk toward the house. "Wait, you're not coming?"
   (Y/N) shook her head. "I-I'm not really hungry." Matthew nodded. "Neither am I."
   Alfred frowned a bit. He wanted them to come along. He decided he really needed a burger and he didn't want to spend time trying to convince them to come along.
   "Okay. I'll be back soon!" He shouted as he began to run off in the other direction. Matthew and (Y/N) walked off toward the house.
   When they were close, Matthew asked, "Um, (Y/N), would you come with me... I want to show you something." (Y/N) nodded and Matthew took her hand in his  and lead her through the forest near their house.
   Holding (Y/N)'s hand made Matthew blush slightly, but (Y/N) didn't notice. Actually, she noticed but she thought it was just the cold weather.
   "Where are we going?" She asked, holding his hand tighter for warmth and so she would not lose him. Matthew's face became slightly redder from her action. "You'll see. It's going to be a surprise."
   Matthew lead (Y/N) through the forest with ease. He must have done this many times before if he knows the path this well she thought.
   Matthew stopped for a moment and looked around. "We're almost there. Here let me..." Matthew took off his scarf and tied it around (Y/N)'s head to act as a blindfold. He once again lead her through the forest, but with much more caution since she was unable to see.
   "Here we are," Matthew said as he let go of her hand. He carefully undid the knot in his scarf and removed it from (Y/N)'s head.
   She blinked a few times to readjust to the bright light. She looked at the scene before her. A pond filled with bright blue, water that sparkled in the sunlight that shone through a clearing in the trees. It looked like tiny crystals were scattered on the surface of the pond.
   Several species of beautiful flowers dotted the surrounding area. The snow on the ground and atop the trees glowed bright white with the rays of light coming through the clearing.
   "Wow... Th-this place is beautiful. I-It's amazing," (Y/N) said in awe of the scene before her.
   "Yeah, I come here a lot in the winter. It's so tranquil and breathtaking," Matthew said as he approached the pond. He looked at his reflection on the clean water.
   "I discovered this place when I was ten. I got lost in the woods when playing with Alfred. I wandered around looking for my way back when I found this clearing. I stayed here for a while untill I started to get cold and decided to seach for home again. I could faintly hear the calls of my family. I made my way back to them, carefully observing my path as I went along. Ever since then I would always visit this place in the winter."
   "Why only in the winter?" (Y/N) asked. Matthew sighed. "I tried coming here when winter ended... It just loses it's beauty without the snow, eh." She nodded, the snow made it look so pure and peaceful.
"I try to visit this place as much as possible. Alfred never really questions where I go or what I do, so this place is my secret." He slightly looked over at (Y/N), his face turned a bit redder than it already was. "A-and now I'm sharing it with you."
(Y/N) looked up shyly at his comment. "S-so I'm the only one you have shown this place to?" He nodded slightly in reaponse. "Wh-why me? Wh-why am I the person you chose to show your special place to?"
Matthew looked back at his reflection in the water. "W-well... Y-you are the person I am the closest to besides Alfred. I would have shown him, but he probably would not appreciate it like I do. You... I knew from the moment it started to snow that I wanted to show you this place. I-I knew you would appreciate it like I do..."
He mumbled something inaudible after. "Wh-what was that last part?" (Y/N) asked. Matthew's face was bright red. "J-just th-that you would appreciate it l-like I do..." He smiled, a bit awkwardly. (Y/N) just dismissed it.
"Th-thank you for showing me this... It really is amazing," she said with a smile.
"Actually, before we go... I have one other thing to show you."
"What is it?"
"Should be around here somewhere..."
   There was a rustle in the bushes.
   "Wh-what is that?"
