   The school day ended and (Y/N), Matthew, and Alfred walked together to (Y/N)'s house.
   (Y/N) was barely paying attention to anything. She was too busy thinking if what could happen when she arrived at her house... She was so distracted she didn't notice Alfred calling her name until he stepped in front of her and she ran into him.
"O-oh... S-sorry Alfred. Wh-what were you saying?"
"Are we going the right way? By the way you described it, it made it sound like it was a shorter walk then what we've done."
(Y/N) looked around and saw that she had passed up the turn that led to her house by a lot.
"O-oh! Y-yeah we've been going the wrong way f-for a while... I-I'm r-really sorry..."
"It's okay (Y/N)," Matthew said, "Are you sure you're okay though?"
"Y-yeah... I-I'm just a little distracted, that's all..."
(Y/N) led them back and turned down her street. When she reached her house, she saw something she didn't expect.
M-Mom's car? Her mother's car was parked in her driveway. It had been so long since she had last seen it. Usually he mom's boyfriend's car was the one parked there whenever they were home...
"(Y/N), is something wrong?" Matthew asked, noticing her shocked expression when she suddenly syopped moving.
"Y-yeah... I-I j-just... W-well it's nothing..."
(Y/N) walked to her house, making sure the two boys stayed behind. She went inside and closed the door.
"(Y/N)?" She heard her mother call her from the living room. She entered the room to see her mother sitting on the couch and for the first time in a long time, (Y/N) saw her mother was not drunk.
   "M-mom?" She said cautiously.
   "(Y/N)!!" Her mother ran over to her and hugged her.
   "Y-you're not drunk..."
   "Yeah... What happened yesterday is blurry, but I clearly remember you running away. I needed to talk to you about what was wrong."
   (Y/N) didn't want to ruin her mother's happiness... She could not tell her the truth.
   "I-It was nothing Mom..."
   Her mom looked at her curiously... She didn't understand her daughter sometimes.
   "Actually... I need to tell you something..."
   "What is it, (Y/N)?"
   "I... I'm moving out..."
   "Wh-what?!? W-why?"
   She thought of a good way to bend the truth. "Well... I felt it was time I should be growing up, moving out would be a good place to start. Also, I think it would be better if you and your boyfriend were left alone, without having to worry about me," she forced a smile for her mother, "You two always seem to have so much fun, I wouldn't want to have you worrying about me."
   Her mother hugged her. She started crying. "Oh, my little (Y/N) is growing up... I never thought it would come so soon..."
   (Y/N) hugged her back. She felt tears building up in her eyes. She tried her best to hold them in, but a few managed to fall.
   Her mother held her by her shoulders. "Where will you go? Do you have enough money to rent an apartment?"
   (Y/N) shook her head. "No. My friends are actually letting me stay with them."
   Her mother looked at her with joy in her eyes. "Friends? You decided to make friends again?"
   (Y/N) nodded shyly. Her mom hugged her again.
   "Oh (Y/N)... You really have grown up... Will you at least come and visit us sometimes?"
   (Y/N) nodded. She hugged her mother and went to pack her belongings.
   When she came out, she confronted her mother one last time. They hugged and had tears in their eyes.
   "I'll miss you (Y/N)."
   "I'll miss you too mom."
   Her mother watched As (Y/N) walked out the door. How has my little girl managed to grow up so fast...  She wiped tears from her eyes, but she was happy  for her daughter.

   "Okay, that's it," (Y/N) said. She had two suit cases and a small backpack.
   "Is that everything," Alfred asked.
   (Y/N) nodded in response.
   "Here, let us help you," Matthew said, and each of the brothers picked up one of her suitcases.
   "Th-thanks guys..." The three walked back to their house.
~~~Time Skip~~~
   The sun was beginning to set when they arrived at the house. The brothers set down (Y/N)'s suitcases in her room and left her to unpack.
   She organized all of her clothes neatly, and arranged her personal objects on a desk: a laptop, some notebooks, and a few books she liked to read. She took out the last thing... She felt the tears build up in her eyes as she looked at the item.
   "Th-that's a nice music box."
   She turned around to see Matthew in the doorway.
   "O-oh... Hey Matthew... Y-yeah... It was a gift from my mother when I was 10..."
   She opened the music box, a soft, quiet melody began playing. (Y/N) tried to hold back the tears, but failed.
   Matthew came over to her and gave her a hug.
   "You really loved her... Didn't you?"
   (Y/N) nodded.
   "You didn't have to move away, we would have understood."
   "No... I-I needed to do this. Sh-She needs to be happy, a-and I need to learn my own path..."
   Matthew looked at her, he watched as the tears fell down her face.
   "Well... If you ever need anything, advice, help, anything... We'll be here for you..."
   He hugged her again and she returned the gesture.
   "Do you want to come eat dinner?" He asked as he paused in the doorway.
   (Y/N) shook her head. "I-I'm not in the mood..."
   Matthew nodded and left (Y/N) alone, closing the door. For the rest of the night, she sat in her bed, thinking about her mother...
