Chapter 3: The New Girl

Chapter 3 (Stephen's P.O.V.)

I was walking to my locker only to be greeted by Savannah my girlfriend. She kissed me hello but didnt go far i wasnt in it today, i felt like something is gonna happen. I've felt like this since Friday, i dont know what it is but its gonna be important i can feel it. i start heading towards my friends with Savannah clinging on my arm. They were at our usual spot in the morning, I see everyone there except Jace and i was glad his wasn't. Don't get me wrong Jace is my best friend but i just hate when him and my girlfriend start at it. I swear there like a married couple. 

We were all talking about the new wolf i saw the other day supposedly its the daughter of my fathers long old friend Jason. We were all taking when i spot Jace down the hall he was with a girl, not a surprise for Jace he's been trying to find his mate since he is almost 18. I look at her and she is giggling and blushing a light pink at something Jace said. She was gorgeous he had long ebony curled locks, a slim body with curves all in the right places, hazel eyes framed with thick black lashes above her rosey pink cheeks.

They finally approached us and i still couldn't take my eyes off her, her eyes were mesmerizing they held mecaptive. It wasn't till Jace introduced me that i snapped out of the trance. She flashed me a pearly white smile in greeting. Then they started. Jace and Savannah were at it again but i was to busy staring at Nikcole beautiful name it suited her perfectly. It wasn't till Savannah was asking of my opinion that i had spoken for the first time since she got here. "uummm y-yeah babe." i replied not quite sure what the question was in the first place. Nikcole giggled at me stuttering. I was looking at her again, she caught me i couldn't help but smile, she flushed pink and smile before looking down in embarrassment.

 It took two seconds then BAM Savannah had it, it was record time this argument only lasted about 10 minutes. She tugged me away from the group tired of Jace's bull again her words not mine. I knew better than to fight against the pull, i tried resisting once Savannah gave me hell for it and because i had also taken Jace's side she said it wasn't 'very boyfriend of me' to be against her.

She tugged on me and i went past Nicole and my arm brushed hers i felt sparks for the small seconds our arms meet. She gasped silently to herself and i knew for sure she felt it too. My wolf cried 'mate' and it all came together in my head in just a few seconds. It all made sense why i could stop staring at her, this was it, this is what i felt coming for the past 3 days. I look back at her one more time before Savannah dragged me away more i could see realization cross her features and i knew she also knew. It was her, she was my mate. Nikcole was my mate.
