Chapter 7: Headache From Hell

Chapter 7 (Nikcole's P.O.V.)

I can see auras. It all started after the dinner at the pack house last night.  I'd see them on anyone i looked at. It went  from any color from red to black. I honestly freaked out, i told my mother and thats when i calmed down. As it turns out when we come in contact with our mates they give us our full potential of our strengths and powers. Not all werewolf's have extra abilities, about one out of fifth have an extra ability either your one of the fifth or your the alpha's mate. It takes about a day or two for your powers show up completely and mine was aura seeing. I shook off my thought of Stephen that he was probably going to be the new alpha soon.

 "Nikcole sweetheart." That phrase was never good on my part i was about to be questioned or told bad news." Have you found your mate sweetie? Because of your gift? And you haven't told us?" Oh hot damn. "Ummm i don't think so mom.. i think i might have bumped into them but didn't seem them and that set my gift off." I lied smoothly. "Okay sweetie." she smiled and went off into the kitchen. I decided i wanted to figure how my 'gift' worked to i decided to go to the most public places of all: the mall.I texted Marissa and Kari to see if they were up for the mall. I got a hell yeah from Marrisa and an OMG yes! from Kari, I sent them a be there in 15 and fixed my curly hair and put on makeup before getting into my Honda.

I was on the way to the pack house when i got a honk from the car beside me at a red light. "Hey babe why don't you turn around so we can see the rest of your pretty little face?" I turned to find a stranger with Julien and Stephen with a shocked expression in a silver convertible. "Why don't you turn your's so i don't have to see it." i shot back. I watched Julien laugh his ass off and the other guy mumbled something under his breath and Stephen was gripping onto the steering wheel as if his life depended on it. Weird.

I heard a honk from behind me and sped off i hadn't noticed i was staring. I got to the house soon enough to find the guys were right behind me. "Just great more humiliation." The guy said. I giggled to myself as i looked at him and he turned red. Stephen noticed me looking at him and gave him a glare from afar. "Look I'm uhh.. I'm sorry i didn't know your were a friend of Julien and the guys..." He looked down at his hands as he said it. I giggle at him he was already cute looking with mussed dirty blond hair and deep sea blue eyes. " It fine but just because i am a friend doesn't mean you can go around doing that to any other girl who isn't." I smiled at him when he finally looked up." Touche." I giggled.

 "The name is Mason, you are?" He asked extending a hand. "Nikcole but call me Niki." I shook his hand i could have swore that i heard Stephen growl under his breath. Stay away from him, he's bad news.  I gasp because these weren't thoughts of my own judgement. They were Stephen's. I glanced in his direction. What the hell?! Look who's talking. I shot back. I saw him clench his square jaw. He looked at  the guys whom were unaware and confused about the unspoken little chat that had taken place between Stephen and I. I saw eyes flashed with pain and anger before glaring at Mason. If looks could kill Mason would be dead burned and blown away, ashes found to be re burned again right there. "Woah man if you called dibs then she's yours." Mason held his hands up in surrender. "She not mine."  She could do a hell of alot better.  Those words went unspoken. I stared as he ran into the woods and disappeared left me awestruck.

*****************At the Mall*****************

I couldn't focus at the mall. They knew something is up and wouldn't stop bugging me it wasn't till after two hours of hefty shopping and my arms started to hurt that we got Chinese and they finally got to me. Then i spilled my guts about the last few days and their jaws dropped to the floor. They couldnt speak so the morons texted me. This is what i got:

New Message From: Marissa: WTF????????????????

New Message From: Kari:??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

About two sodas and two pieces of chicken they finally stopped their texting battle with each other and have scary evil looking grins and then they spill their evil plot i swear I'm friends with evil schmmers. "Okay Niki come on you gotta do it!!." "No." That was my reply for the last 20 minutes and that it shall remain there was no way in hell i was going to try to make Stephen jealous no way no how."Awwhhh Niki pleewwwsseeee." Kari goes for another try with her big green eyes, but i wont give in i wont deal with this madness. "Buttt Niki come on its obvious he likes you and stuff." Come on!!." Kari cried. Marissa was sitting there waiting for her sister to finish.

 "Looky here Niki either we do as your told or we'll make sure everyone at the school gets that picture of your nerd years." I gasp in horror. "H-how do YOU know ab-bout t-tthat?!." MY nerd years were the most humiliating three years of my life. It was in middle school i had bad acne, big ass braces and thick glasses. You'd only think those things happened to people in books, pshhh books my ass that was my life in middle school. Kari shook me back to reality. "Damn Marissa, was it that bad?." asked Kari. "I don't know why dont we ask the whole school and you tell me?" She grinned evilly and i glare at her. "You wouldn't." She couldn't.

 "Trust me darling i will" She grinned I walked forward and cocked and eyebrow, i couldn't tell if she was serious or not. "Now NIki i don't want to be the bitch here, so tell me have you change your mind?" I looked at Kari she was also shocked from her sweet sister's behavior, well that confirmed that this meant this chick was serious. I sighed in defeat no one can see those photos it was one of the perks of coming and here and im not going to be mocked no big deal but still. "Whats the plan.?" I mumbled. "That's what i thought Niki dear." Smiled Marissa. I glared at her. "Your pretty damn evil for a small little thing." "Thank you love." "It wasn't a compliment Marissa." Scowled Kari.

"Well Kari did i convince her or did i convince her?." Kari handed her a 100 dollar bill."Yeah yeah what  ever but deal was that winner had to buy her outfit for her date with Mason so i'll make sure she spends alot." Kari shot back with a smile on her face and hooked her hand in mine. "Since when do i have a date with Mason?!" I asked just as it sank in. "Ummm remember at the pack house you said yes? That's why he was fist pumping in the air?? Ring a bell?"

All i remember from the pack house was the wierd ass conversation with Stephen throught the mate thought link as Kari and Marissa put it when i told them. We could speak through thought to each other even without being in wolf from one of the perks of being the alpha mates. .While Kari got ready and Marisa was talking to Julien i remember mumbling a yes but i was too caught up in my thoughts to pay attention to what he was saying and i recall the fist pumping. Shit their right.  I hit my forehead with the palm of my hand.  "Its okay Niki its on me." Smiled Marissa. "Besides." Stated Kari. "Its a great way to start the plan." I sighed internally and then i was pulled by two crazy chicks through the food court for another 2 hours of shopping. God help me now.

So what do yuh guys tink?? What wil happen on the date on the next Chapter? Who is the the mystery person from the other chapter? Why am i asking questions yuh guys have no answer to? Because its funn ^-^ Longest chape yet hooray! lol ight enouff bout that dont forget to
