Kitty's Life for Show!

School story

So uh you know that story I haven't written yet well for a school project I wrote the plot pretty much it's just the simple version of the story that I will hopefully one day get to but I thought I'd share it with you guys, it's kinda long but  eh.

Putting body wash in my hair instead of my shampoo was what ruined my day. I'm Lighting, or Princess Lightning first born of the kingdom of storms. The year is 3000, Now you may wonder what has happened since then, Well thousands of years ago maybe around the year 2782, the world fell, seasons and storms were lost and many thousands of people where wiped out. The remaining people however decided to rebuild the world and soon later people were born with these powers that brought the seasons and storms back, and soon the two kingdoms that are here today were built, the people who didn't join either the kingdom of storms or seasons well, they wondered alone in the woods I guess. Weird right? Anyways I was taking a really quick shower before my father or the King left, and be leave I mean he is planing an unnecessary attack on the kingdom of seasons. I don't know why he would attack a poorer kingdom, they've been allies since we'll since long before I was born. I hurried up washed my hair with the shampoo this time and washed. I hurriedly pulled on a dark purple T-shirt and jeans and a navy blue flats. Not very princess like but in all honesty I didn't really care. I brushed my long chocolate colored hair and pulled it up in a very messy ponytail.

I sprinted out my room nearly running into the wall as I turned the corner and continued down the corridor until I reached the gates where two guards stood their swords crossed blocking my way out the gate. "I'm afraid we cannot let you through, Princess." sighed one of the annoyed guards. I sighed a bit and thought, 'well the swords aren't too high.... And I'm small... I can always go under them...' I smirked a bit and backed away as if I was going to turn around. One guard tilted his head a bit before realizing what I was doing. I ran forward and slide under their swords. Getting up I sprinted out the gate ignoring the shouts of protest and the sound of feet thundering behind me. Once I reached the village I fell to my knees in exhaustion "Miss?" asked a familiar voice. "Are you OK?" looking  up I see a around my age with dust brown hair and emerald green eyes. He wore simple brown village clothes with matching sandals. He held out his hand when realization hit me. "Wolf?" I asked he studied me me with a confused look on his face before he smiled and tackled me into a bear hug. "Lightning!?" he asked excitedly "Its yours really you!" I laughed a bit before replying "Shh... Glad to see you too but keep it down. I kinda just ran away from the castle." I whispered he tilted his head before a worried expression was painted across his face. "You're going to try stop to your father aren't you?" he asked worriedly I nodded slowly "As far as I know he is attacking the kingdom of seasons for no reason." I explained "I agree with you, but you can't go alone." he stated "Then who am I supposed to go with then?" "Me." "You?" "Yes me!" he laughs "Its been years since we last saw each other. Do you think I'm going today goodbye again??" he asks "Well....." I trailed "No, I guess you wouldn't." "Exactly. now let's go!" He grabbed my wrist and dragged me through the crowds of the village. "Wait where are we going!?" I asked confused "Well as it looks you are still the forgetful person you were when we were eight, we need supplies." I stared at him dumbfounded before answering "Sorry, you know I almost never plan ahead." "Add that to the list of reasons why I'm coming." I let out a small laugh.
"Annnnnnnnnnnnd.............. We're here!" he states pulling me up to a stand. "What would you like to ge-" she stops when she looked up and smiled. She hurriedly and fixed he short ginger hair as her blue eyes widened in shock, her once friendly smile turned worried. "Excuse me princess for not knowing you where coming to visit." she said as she hurriedly cleaned around the stand."Shh... Not so loud please." I whispered she nodded and clasped her hand over her mouth. I leaned over the counter before speaking "Do you think you might have some traveling supplies?" she nodded and scrambled around the stand stuffing tools,food,and clothes in a small leather satchel. Pushing it towards me she whispers "Its free." I take it and mouth a thank you before being dragged around the village by wolf again. "Where are we heading towards now?" I asked as wolf lead me out if the village. He hesitated for a second as if he were choosing his words carefully. "Well... I got some friends... Who don't agree with the kings planed attack either..." he trailed off "Rebels?" I asked as we continued to follow him into the woods. "Yep rebels." he sighed as we walked into a makeshift camp. Boards were propped up against trees to make small one person houses for maybe children, there were women and children hovering over big coal black pots stirring something that looked like potatoes and water. They all looked as me and wolf walked by. Some turned swords one another and mumbled something before turning back and staring. I looked away but I could still feel their piercing glares burn through my skin. I looked straight ahead as we walked to an almost normal looking house except it was painted bright neon orange and had a grass roof. Opening the door Wolf stood into the doorway. "Misty!" he calls a few footsteps where heard before a girl a round my age maybe a year older than me with light blue hair and piercing hazel eyes wearing an annoyed expression showed up. "Wolf! You know the leader doesn't with speak with you unless you have news! And who is this!? Wolf I told you,you couldn't just pick up random people from the streets we have enough mouths to feed as it is!" The blued hair girl who I'm assuming was Misty shouted and stomped her foot. Wolf let out an annoyed sigh "Princess Lightning meet Misty, Misty meet Princess Lightning." Misty's eyes grew three times bigger when she heard Princess, she dropped to her knees, a position that looked like an awkward bow. "Excuse me for my rudeness Princess, please accept my apology."she begged I stood and stared at her wide eyed and dumbfounded before replying "No problem I just need help." I stated she looked up with a confused look on her face. "For a princess you don't act too formal." she stated I scratched my neck "Well yea, but I'm not those stuck up ones." I mumbled loud enough for them to hear. She stare at me blankly before coughing "So.. Anyways why do you need help?" "The king is planning an unnecessary attack on the kingdom of seasons." I explained "What?! There hasn't been anything that corrupted our peace since... Since the world fell.." Misty exclaimed "What since he did the world fall!" Wolf exclaimed Misty sighed "Around year 2782 ish  seasons and such started to disappear the people who didn't disappear along with that rebuilt the world and created the two kingdoms we know today were created and blah blah blah people where born with powers."Misty explained "You should've know that." I added "Lightning you know I wasn't there when they taught us that in school."  wolf said "All well, but can you help us?" I asked Misty thought for a second before answering. "I can hook you up with a few things if I get to come."  "Of course the more people to help the better." "We got a deal then, I'll go get the stuff,Wolf show her around and let her meet a few of the rebels." Misty said before walking away from the door frame. "Well let's go meet a few if my friends." Wolf says pulling me over to a group of people.
